Two of the three bulbs worked great. The last of the three was a different deal all together. Upon inspecting the third when it did not light up, I was immediately shocked and burned by the bulb.

Wanted to chime in to bump the average back up a bit, since there’s only a few reviews and the one reviewer who had it not work gave just 1 star. (I believe them that it didn’t work for them, not sure if the got a bad bulb or maybe incompatible with their fixture) For me this did work, exactly as advertised. I got annoyed calling the landlord to keep replacing the CFL, I’m guessing it’s a heat build up. Hoping this LED runs cooler and longer. I also like the instant-on feature. I LOVE that you don’t have to change the ballast, which I wouldn’t do. The only wish is that I could slightly rotate the bulb’s directional beam. The pins are symmetric so you can choose 1 of 2 orientations, 180 degrees apart. But the socket isn’t parallel to the floor, maybe a 45 degree angle, so the patch of light doesn’t point straight down. It’s still works, still get plenty of light. The fixture’s diffuser helps mitigate the affect. The angle wasn’t as critical with the old CFL, as it’s light is almost the same for all angles.

They keep coming apart in the ceiling. Maybe made with bad glue? Had to replace - avoid.

I got this horizontal LED bulb to replace a fluorescent one in a tight place. The cover for the light had turned yellow and an extra white LED bulb made the light white and bright again. I bought a second one of these for another place, but it was not compatible with the ballast, so I had to go back to fluorescent.

Very good product. Came in time, work as advertised. These are very nice and bright lights, so far these are lasting.

I bought other Lunera products and they worked just fine. I tried this and they both went bad in first try. Return them both.

In October were $16 each, in November they are $32 each. And the price had already doubled from $7 to $16 the first time I ordered them about two years ago. they don't last long enough to make it worth it.

I've tried the Bonlux and Phillips LED replacements, this one is the easiest and cheaper It fits our lightolier fixture and works without ballast replacements, the others are either too long or too wide. Its brighter than the original triple-tube CFLs as well. Very satisfied.
