Good support
These are helpful to support my arches when I'm not using my custom orthotics. (Those custom fit stay in my sneakers all the time.) When I want to wear a different pair of shoes instead of my sneakers, I use these underneath my socks, to give that extra arch support, temporarily. It's helpful because often my left arch will ache (plantar fasciitis) but my right one is fine, so I can use just one as I need. Pricing is fair for the product. I haven't had to wash them, but I clean my feet before using them, to help them last longer. Might get a 2nd pair to rotate, since I'm using the left piece more than the right.

Very cheap and worth the price!
I never developed arches since infancy, so I've always had painful experiences wearing arch supports even numerous custom moulded ones from Podiatrists. I walked barefooted with them on inside my home an hour at a time for a day, and got used to them right away.It fits snuggly but they do shift/slide around so I'm having to readjust them every couple of minutes. I've worn them for up to 2 hours and I started to develop paresthesia so they had to be taken off to let my feet rest. Also attempted to wear them in my shoes but won't fit.Overall it's good if being worn barefooted for indoors and on even surfaces but limit your time with them on.I wouldn't recommend using them in your footwear or for any prolonged usage. It's been about 3 months now and they're still comfortable to use sparingly. Time will tell on quality of fabric.

Quite a good support
I own just about every type of these supports sold by Amazon due to metatarsal pain in my right foot. Most of them are good to excellent for me IF they have some kind of metatarsal pad. I must say that these are among the best because of the shape, length and “stiffness” (non-squishiness) of the pad (the bigger and squishier the worse) . One of the positives is for me one of the slight negatives is that they are made to be foot dependent so I bought two pairs specifically for my right foot. BTW I wear a size 15W if you are worried about the stretch of the fit. As to the effect of the copper, come on, really, but I certainly understand it from a competitive perspective.Update after three months: I can honestly say these are the best of all the metatarsal pads that you attach directly to your feet — and, as I mentioned above, I have tried just about all of them. I do also use a felt metatarsal pad attached to the inner sole. They work well together for me. It is also completely obvious which one goes on which foot, especially considering the photo on Amazon. Note they do tend to compress over time. However they still have enough padding for me. However I will replace them after six months.

Not comfortable to me!
Sadly these left my feet sore, underneath, where the pad sat. I tried them several times, & the longer i wore them, the worse it got, was still feeling the pain from them the following day. Definitely not for extended wear, at least for me anyways!

A waste of money for me!
I’ve got vry high arches & these supports r higher than that & over priced. I tried chipping away at the blue support sponge with a razor, but it was extremely laborious! It was much more difficult than I thought, but I was hoping to lower them so they would b comfortable. However the strap was too tight which was also uncomfortable. It’s a pretty tough condensed sponge, that doesn’t really have any give to it.Then I got tired of trying to customize them, so I threw them into a box. These portable arch supports were a good idea but the arches could’ve been much softer. One day I might resume customizing them but I doubt it. I should’ve returned them but I thought it would b ez to customize them, NOT!

Kept pinching my feet
I tried these and using then without shoes first they were moderately comfortable. Bit they kept punching my feet. Put shoes on and it only got worse. So I sent them back.
