Works amazingly well !
I read a lot of reviews and looked on YouTube before buying this product as I wasn’t sure it would work for what I wanted. I have made a woven basket using jute rope and teddy yarn, the teddy yarn is so cuddly but makes it softer than usual so I wanted something to stiffen from the inside. Omg this worked amazingly after just one coat the difference was amazing, I sprayed a reasonable layer on until felt damp then left to dry and the results were fab. So much more sturdy so pleased and good size bottle will get several baskets out of this one bottle. Will definitely buy again.

It works
Made a floppy brim of a straw had stand up like a cow boy hat . I put a stitch in it to hold the shape then sprayed , let it dry and resprayed a few times . I am very impressed for the price and ease .

Works, but takes some patience and know-how
I used this to stiffen my macrame pieces. It took a bit of trial and error to get it to work with macrame, but once I figured it out, it worked well.First thing to say is it is not quick drying at all, the peice you are trying to stiffen needs to be kept in a nice warm place to stiffen within a reasonable amount of time (about 4-6 hours). When we've had nice weather I've left it to dry in the sun, but if its a bit gloomy outside, I find I need at least 24h for it set (it's currently summer so don't have the radiators on, but I imagine in the winter a radiator might help with quicker drying). I tried using a hairdryer, and a heat gun to dry my peices quicker but neither worked. Only thing which seems to dry them is good old time and patience. In terms of setting macrame project, the way I found works best is firstly to make sure your item is on a flat surface. Secondly to really saturate the cord you want to stiffen - not just a few good sprays, it needs to be soaked (but not dripping). Thirdly, you need a good brush to brush out the macrame - I use a cheap bog standard pet hair brush. It is worth noting when I sprayed the stiffener on the macrame cord, I got different reactions from different brands. Some brands curled up, so I had to give them a good brushing out again, and I found if I hadn't saturated the cord enough, it would keep curling back up until I saturated the cord with more stiffener. Thought it was worth mentioning this as seen some bad reviews from people who experienced this.Overall, once I'd figured it out it worked well and the stiffener holds really well over time

Marvellous stuff
Unfortunate name!! I used this after watching a video to make a wool wall hanging, and this was the product used. It works very well and I'd recommend it. Took a couple of hours to dry, but this can be speeded with a hairdryer or warm spot in house.

Not a Good result
I used this spray to stiffen and shape some Macramé Work although it sprayed well with the pump action and dried fairly quickly, I can say that the result was not that impressive If the item gets wet it washes out and you have to reapply the spray, a bonus if the shape when dried was not correct but annoying if it didn't need reshaping. I have had better results using watered down PVA glue in this type of work. But saying that it has been good for stiffening fine fabric before sewing on a machine as it has helped to prevent the fabric from slipping.

Not effective product.
Not effective, even after using the whole bottle, the crochet bag is still limp, not stiffened as described by the seller.
