Lovely moka pot with a great price
A beautiful stovetop moka pot which makes delicious espresso in a matter of about 5 minutes and doesn’t break the bank. It’s easy to clean and a great addition to my coffee ritual. I got the six cup version and could not be happier.

This is the PERFECT ONE! You don't need to search anymore!
I've bought and returned 5 so claimed Espresso Coffee Pots, but THIS ONE is the only one that is the "REAL" thing. I was born and raised wilth my Cuban family and know what a real and good Moka Espresso Pot should be and look like. This is the ONE! The Zulay Moka Pot Espresso maker pours perfectly into your mug without any spills. It doesn't leak like the others do while perculating. The base of it doesn't turn black when put to the heat as the others do because they are poorly made. The Zulay is made with GREAT quality and solid. You can tell even by the weight, but also the care that they took into making it. They give you a lifetime guarantee and their own phone number with the hours of work if you need anything. WOW! What a difference when you actually get the right one and made with such great care and good quality. I'm so glad that I didn't give up. I almost did, as all the others are like tin. The handle is sturdy and away from the pot so you don't get burn or it gets hot. It's GREAT! I love it, and every time I make espresso coffee it's easy, no mess, and tastes AMAZING! Thank you Zulay family for making such great quality Espresso Maker. You don't get such service and qualilty now a days, but this company deserves the praise. This is AUTHENTIC and not made cheaply. It comes in a very professional box with great instructions, although I don't need them, being raise in a Cuban home I know how, but it's wonderful for those who don't. I will put the pictures to show you how it arrived and the care that this company took into making it. It also was extremely FAST shipping, and I don't have Prime. Thank you for your work, and may God bless you, your family and your wonderful company.

Used daily and I'd still recommend
Bottom line information: I've had this for 6 weeks, used daily, I had one problem with the gasket in-between the vessels that turned out to be a me problem, not a malfunction of the pot. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to keep their pot clean and not in a lazy mad rush to make coffee in the morning. If you would like to hear details: I purchased the 3 cup Moka Pot about six weeks ago and have used it nearly every day, sometimes two times a day. Finding the right amount a heat took some trial and error the first couple of days but once I found it I've been happy ever since. I have a gas stove with a small burner. Ideally you want to have a burner that does not have a wider circumference than the bottom of your pot. If you are in a mad rush every morning to make a pot of coffee or spoiled to the automatic brew of your conventional coffee maker this either may not be the process for you or make take some adjustment time. This is a process, I am often in a hurry on the mornings that I work so I grind coffee beans the night before. I do like to boil water in kettle first to get the water hot prior to putting in the bottom vessel as to not burn the coffee and it is done faster anyway. I not have a routine and know that my coffee is going to take about 10 min to brew once I get it on the stove but that is due to the amount of heat that I use. So I multi-task and it works fine but it is recommended that once it goes on the stove you stay close by to watch it, don't leave it completely unattended! This moka pot is a little small if I want more than one cup of coffee, so I've gotten in the habit of making an iced latte in the morning instead of a hot cup of coffee because it is summer in Texas and its too hot even in the mornings. However, I do plan on getting a bigger moka pot soon. I like strong coffee full of flavor and this moka pot does not disappoint! I've found that I am now spoiled to the flavor that this pot brings out. I've completely done away with my conventional maker which freed up a ton of space on my counter. I did a lot of research before purchasing this pot, I am very happy with my choice and plan on buying the same brand of the bigger pot. I also bought a manual coffee bean burr grinder that I love so I can control the size of my grind. For this pot I use a course grind that works great, something really fine would probably fall through the filter. Clean up is not a big deal to me. Once done I immediately unscrew the pieces and rinse out the top vessel, otherwise the sediment dries in there and makes it harder to clean. I also rinse the underside of the top vessel to clean off the remaining coffee grounds and ensure that there are no grounds under the gasket. It is possible to get the gasket out and clean it all thoroughly but I do not do that every time as I don't want to wear the gasket out or damage it by removing it often. I was lazy one morning and heard/felt a little crunch when I screwed the two pieces together and decided to make the coffee anyway and discovered that there was a coffee ground under the gasket which caused it to leak when it pressured up on the stove. That is the only time it's leaked, I just ensure that I cleaned it properly. By the time I drink my coffee it is cool enough to clean the bottom. Do not use soap! I dump the grounds out and rinse the filter under water, followed by rinsing the bottom vessel. I wipe all pieces down with a power towel as there will be a little coffee residue. I really do not have any complaints about this pot, it does take a little time and patience to get used to but now it is just my morning routine that is actually almost a therapeutic process. I love the flavor that I get. The coffee to me does not seem as hot as I would get out of a conventional pot so I just heat up my milk and creamer when I want it really hot, and use a frother to get it a little more creamy. So when I make it hot the frother helps in making more of a cappuccino depending on the amount of time I use the frother and how much air is added. I love iced lattes with this as the flavor goes a long way! I hope this helps someone out there.

Does Its Job
I bought the white, 5.5 cup stovetop coffee maker around 2 or 3 weeks ago and it works just fine. The white enamel stains when coffee drops splatter a bit, however, disappear after rinsing the pot (once it cools down, of course). The instructions stated the handle mimicked wood, so I knew this info beforehand, but really wished it was real. The detail "wood" have added more charm, not Zulay's fault as they did not manufacture the pot. What matters most to me is that the handle is not hot, has a comfortable grip & was designed further out than usual to eliminate burns. Valve, pressure & percolating function well resulting in a strong brew. 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons of ground coffee & 1 cup milk allow me two flavorful servings. The lid hinge could be stronger but it's not a deal breaker. The spout pours a steady stream, no access running down the pot. It does take the coffee maker some time to percolate at medium heat (sorry, haven't timed it) so I just give it a head start by adding warm water. Yes, the reservoir is already stained (I anticipated this much), but mine is not peeling at all as I've seen some reviews state. I really don't have complaints about the purchase. I make sure to rinse & store it dry; I'm certain this product will last a long while for me.

This things lasts forever!
I am reviewing now because I purchased this item a while ago and I still use it every day. It’s just absolutely the perfect size for a single cup of espresso and it’s super durable. Would totally recommend.

We bought this a few weeks back and the first thing we noticed was the lack or instructions papers or any type of documentation. After a few uses ( no more than 5 uses) the handle broke off, which really disappointed me as i knew it was cheap but did not expect it to face issues that quickly. But having said that it was an intereting and fun experience making coffee using a claasic espresso maker.

Just made my first cup with this and it was brilliant! Only neded the hob on number 3 and it was ready in no time at all (i did use hot water to start though) 3 teaspoons of fresh ground was enough for three very strong shots of coffee. Its well enough made but lacks the perfect finishing of a much more expensive version. Finish aside it works and looks great.
