The plates is very beautiful and simple

I was looking for dessert-sized plates that were light and stacked smaller than stoneware. Corelle dishware fits the bill, but none of their designs were to my personal taste. These fit my style better than the available patterns of Corelle. They're a little bit heavier, but are very similar in how they stack in my cabinet. They're also a bit large for a dessert plate, but that size is hard to come by these days. This was as close as I could get. The pattern is pretty and seems like it will last, and not wear off.

Why is it necessary to put a sticker on every individual plate that the customer then has to scrub off? I bought a 6 pack and I can see what I bought on my Amazon receipt. I don't need a sticker on each plate to tell me what it is. And they put the sticker on the side of the plate that you put food on, not the bottom where it wouldn't be so bad.I bought these plates specifically because the material is safe and won't leach chemicals into food. This is a selling point Bormioli emphasizes. Well guess what, I don't want to eat sticker residue either. I tried warm water, vinegar, and ran it through the dishwasher twice. Still have sticker residue on every plate. Do I really try goo gone or do I just send them back. Ugh, so annoying.Other than that the plates seem like good quality. But the nearly hour of work I have put into getting these stickers off makes this one of my most disappointing amazon purchases.

These plates are simple, plain, and functional for small portions.Nothing fancy, but should last for a long time.I tried cutting on it with a sharp knife with no visible markings left behind at all. Then I tried cleaning the sticker residue off of them with a metal mesh covered sponge made for scrubbing stainless steel, and again, no visible markings left behind. Just a clean, shiny plate.I measured them and couldn't quite get to 7.9 inches as claimed. Closer to 7.8 max. Not a big deal, but something you should be aware of if that matters to you.So if you want a simple, white plate for side dishes, kids, etc. this might be a good choice for you.I hope this helps. For everyday casual dining

These are lovely, simply-designed plates -- I chose the white version so they would go well with all of my other dinnerware. They can be part of a more formal table setting as easily as something more casual for a family meal. At a size of not quite 8", these are fairly small; a little larger than a traditional dessert plate but not quite as large as a luncheon plate. I think they will be perfect for sandwiches and snacks. My family is always reaching for plates of this size, and it will be nice to have some extra. The plates are fairly thin but have a substantial feel to them and they are very durable. They are not quite as thin and light as porcelain, but are nowhere near as thick and heavy as stoneware. Like other reviewers, I am reminded of Corelle dinnerware, and these also stack neatly and compactly. They do have a bit more heft than Corelle. They have a very smooth surface (like glass, ha, ha!) but the underside is textured, making them easy to grip and carry. No worries about them slipping out of my hand. I have quite a few canning and storage jars from Bormioli and I have always been impressed with the quality of everything I have purchased from this brand, so I didn't hesitate to order these plates. This is actually my second order. I recently purchased a set of larger dinner plates in a different style but the same color and also made of opal glass (something I did not know anything about so I had to look it up). These plates are made in Spain, and I like that they are resistant to thermal shock as well as chipping. They are easy to use and care for as they can go in the microwave as well as the dishwasher. They arrived wrapped in layers and layers of well-secured bubblewrap and were well protected against damage, but no box.
