Works Great
I thought my hand held opener was broken, it was not, it was my hand, trigger finger makes it very hard to open, i had one before it worked for a year and broke, i got the new 2nd generation, it works Great, but nothing special about it except that it has a thing on the inside to lift the lids which is useless otherwise it works great

Size and durability
I absolutely love this can opener. It is lightweight and easy to use. Just place it on the top of the can and push the button. No need to hold the can opener or the can you are opening. The can opener changes it sound when it is finished. Then just remove can opener and the lid comes with it. No sharp edges you to worry about.. I bought this one for my daughter

Great while it works; breaks FAST
While this can opener works, it's mostly great! Does what it says. It safely removes can lids from the rim, and dulls the sharpness out of the exposed metal on the removed lid and the can edge. I was especially fond of doing this to the top of canned fizzy water, turning the can into an open cup I can add ice cubes to.Despite being marketed to work on "all cans", I found it struggled with the small 3.3 oz wet cat food cans I open a few times a day. Rather than pushing the button and letting the opener work its way around the can on its own, I found I needed to support the heavy can opener over the small can and let the can turn under the opener. Aside from that, it worked.Unfortunately, on the third day of use, I went to remove a 3.3 oz can lid. I pressed the button and it squeezed down onto the can normally. Then a HORRIBLE screech-scream noise that was far louder than I could have ever thought possible sounded while the opener ground away in futility to get purchase on the can and turn it. I immediately slapped the button to make it stop. My wife came running from her office down the hall where she said the sound hurt her ears from another part of the house! I had to grab ear protection to push the button again to try to get the opener loose and back off the can.Literally the worst sound I've ever experienced indoors. The can opener continued to work a few more times until we tried to make dinner and I was opening a can of coconut milk. The horrible screech occurred again, but the mechanism that locks onto a can rim had completely failed. I had to bend the remaining uncut can bit back and forth carefully until I could crack the can lid free. It's still attached to the can opener and since the clamp will no longer release, I had to return the can opener with the can lid still attached to the opener.Look, I probably got a faulty unit. Nearly 7k reviews here averaging 4-stars or better. But given my initial thoughts of "this is cheap gear" when I unboxed it – especially the really flimsy hard-to-open-and-close battery cover, let's say I wasn't surprised at the failure, just disappointed. The noise was an utter shock...but not surprised at the failure.

Easy to Use!
I must admit, I was reluctant to purchase this item, but based on reviews, I decided to try it. Pleased to report that the can opener is very simple and quick to use. The lid is clean and is left with no sharp edges are left on either the can or top. Just place the opener on the can as directed and lid is promptly removed! Also—because of its small size, the opener may be stored in a drawer!

Indispensible
This can opener is magical. It works very well and is cute besides. It’s my second one and I love everything about it- except the color. Although it’s described as “alpine green” it’s more of a dismal army green. Wish it came in other colors.

Easy to use
With severe arthritis in our hands, my husband and I needed to find an easier, less painful method for opening canned goods.

Finally, I can get cans open with ease. It has been working as stated and is a real help in the kitchen.

A Decent Electric Can Opener with Room for Improvement
Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5)The Kitchen Mama Auto 2.0 Electric Can Opener has its pros and cons, making it a mixed experience in my kitchen. While it does have some useful features, there are a few aspects that leave room for improvement. On the positive side, the can opener's design is aesthetically pleasing and adds a touch of modernity to my kitchen countertop. The sleek appearance is a definite plus, and it complements my other kitchen appliances nicely. However, I found the noise level to be quite bothersome. When in operation, the can opener produces a loud and somewhat grating sound, which can be disruptive in a quiet kitchen environment. A quieter operation would have been much appreciated.Another drawback is the can opener's speed. It takes a whopping 45 seconds to open a single can, which can be quite time-consuming when dealing with multiple cans during meal preparation. A faster mechanism would undoubtedly improve its overall efficiency.Furthermore, the size of the can opener is larger than expected, occupying a significant amount of space on my countertop. For smaller kitchen spaces, this might be a concern as it can limit the available workspace. One of the most frustrating issues I encountered was with the battery cover, which has a tendency to fall off easily. This not only results in the inconvenience of constantly having to reattach it but also raises concerns about the longevity and durability of the product.Despite these drawbacks, I must acknowledge that the Kitchen Mama Auto 2.0 Electric Can Opener does succeed in its primary function – it does open cans eventually. Once you get past the noise and wait time, it does the job satisfactorily. In conclusion, the Kitchen Mama Auto 2.0 Electric Can Opener is a decent addition to my kitchen with its attractive appearance and can-opening capabilities. However, its noise level, slow operation, large size, and the issue with the battery cover detract from its overall performance and user experience. While it does look nice on my countertop, there is room for improvement to make it a more efficient and user-friendly kitchen tool.

Easy to operate
Great product, well made. Great customer service.Note: please be aware that this model does not shut off automatically like the previous Kitchen mama models. It circles and opens the can then stops circling once it reaches the start. A simple push of the start button stops the unit then lift off the unit with lid attached. Easy and opens cans perfectly. Recommend highly!!CheersFred
