Works great
For years my rear door was not functioning properly, used this as a direct replacement on 2012 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. It now opens completely and holds. Replacement was easy with two people. It was helpful to have one person hold the door up while the other did the install. I would recommend this as a replacement if your fort does not open completely or stay open.

Item worked perfectly and was easy to install
Bought this item for my 2010 Sequoia which back door kept failing. We installed the two new rear gate supports in less than 10 minutes, and the back lift door stays up perfectly.

Quality supports
These were WAY cheaper than the Toyota brand (obviously) but it works perfectly. Our Sequoia's hatch wouldn't stay up and my husband popped out the supports and replaced them with these and they are great!
