Excellent value for money, but be warned about packaging and delivery
Bought this on a whim via Amazon after selling some gear. The guitar itself is really good value for the money you pay. Very nice neck and body, pickups are quite decent for this price point. Fretwork is good but needed a polish and fret ends are sharp and will need filing. Indian Laurel is no match for a rosewood or pau ferro fretboard as it just feels dry and needs a decent amount of conditioning and oil to feel good to play. Tuners and bridge and other hardware feel really good. Sounds beautiful unplugged and quite rich tonally. Overall, I think CVs are worth looking into and are a great modding platform.Was really shocked at how poor the packaging was from Amazon. Despite having written to them requesting extra care in the handling and packing, the guitar arrived in the original box with no extra padding or protection. What’s more surprising, is that there were large holes in the box and the box was even wet from the rain. It’s a miracle the guitar inside wasn’t damaged.
