Good solid clamp
Have 4 of these for my workbench and I use them on almost every project I work on. They obviously work to hold things to the bench so I can screw or glue them but sometimes I use them as stops or hold downs for scraps or jigs. I’m have other hold downs but I like these the best. They are easy to use with one hand and have a great range. I do wish they made them with a longer reach. My dog holes are 8” apart and sometimes I need to be creative in placing the clamps. Overall I can’t imagine doing work without at least 2 of these.

Great bench clamps
I am surprised there are not more options available for similar clamps, but these work great. Very good alternative to the traditional hold fast and these will not mar the wood. They clamp tight and will work with any standard 3/4 dog hole. This should work with shallower benches too unlike the traditional hold fast.

Easy to use
Other 3/4" hold down clamps i've bought from Amazon barely fit in 3/4" dog holes and have to be pushed hard to squeeze in. These fit easily, adjust quickly, are simple to screw down tight and just work right. what more can you ask for?

Fantastic
These are great. I use them to clamp tools down to my workbench so I can change them out as needed. Quick and easy and don’t extend below the top so you can use them with drawers underneath.

A little pricy but a solid hold down clamp
The media could not be loaded. As part of my work bench upgrade, which included drilling bench dog holes, this sort of hold down clamp is just the thing. This one is able to hold down something as thick as 7 3/4 inches. It has a nice acme screw that provides a lot of holding power with a soft 1" diameter pressure pad to not mar the surface of the material. A large comfortable grip is attached to the pressure screw and lets you torque down, if necessary. You can quickly and firmly adjust the clamping height, a good thing.Minor issue, the post is was a little wobbly in the bench dog hole. My hole was a tad over 3/4" and the post was a tad under 3/4"; 2 tads creates a wobble That canted installation is key to a lock, but it doesn't have to be as much. Furthermore my bench top was not thick enough which exacerbated the problem (see the video, I do have a solution). I do like that the post is serrated to provide some grabbing; I don't see it sliding out of the hole. Once under pressure the looseness of the post is not a concern. It becomes a moot point should I make the effort I described in the video. In any case, it allows for an easier removal and insertion. The jaw, which slides along the vertical rail, is sized just right. It makes for optimum slop to easily slide up and down the rail. However, I did notice a slight forward vector when the pressure is applied due to the slop in the post. The jaw depth to the center of the acme screw will allow clamping pressure almost 3" from the edge of your material. I did find serrations on the rail (see close-up photo) which makes for a secure lock onto the rail. it does have an hourglass profile making it stiff with no flex.Functionally, this clamp does the job. In a properly sized benchtop, it'd be flawless. Once again, my only criticism, is the price point is a touch high, in my opinion, for a single clamp and so 4 stars.

A beautiful dog hole clamp
Not much to say. It's easy to use, incredibly sturdy, and provides as much pressure as you would ever want from a dog hole clamp. I didn't really know what I would need for my new bench, so a bought various types of clamps and holders for my new dog hole bench. I wish I had not bought most of the other stuff and just bought a second one of these. This one is comparatively expensive, but well worth the price.
