Great quality leather and craftsmanship!
This glove fits like a glove! Seriously, it is incredibly comfortable to wear, the shape and length are perfect, the leather feels nice and durable, even the leather string is durable and great quality, it arrived in the shape it being worn (so I didn't have to worry about molding a flat sheet to my arm from scratch), great mobility, easy to break-in, the layered leather also looks great and the placement is exactly where everything needs to be. I don't see any frayed threads or damages anywhere on this wrist-guard. I highly recommend this product; I was skeptical ordering something like this on Amazon too, the last few times I've bought clothes/costumes/etcetera I've had to send them back because they weren't even close to what had been shown on the listed images, this however is far beyond what I was expected and it looks better in person than the pictures. The sellers of this item should be proud of their work, I didn't even make it and I'm proud to own it. I also added a small amount of oil to increase the wrist-guard's longevity and softness, it definitely isn't needed, but this thing is absolutely beautiful! I'm excited to take this to the archery range, I tested how much it reduced the string slapping pain too, and I could barely feel it, yet the pressure was still there so you know when your string scrapes. I feel like this is great for beginners and experts alike ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice product-but not made large enough.
Quality made. A little small for my hand/forearm, so I gave it to my son who is smaller than me. He loves it, and works great. I would by another one if it was made larger. The manufacturer should make several different sizes with measurement ranges that correspond with each size.

Comfortable, good looking, and excellent protection.
I bought one of these for a gift to a friend, and liked it so much I bought myself one. It shows up a little stiff, so I rubbed it down with a little mink oil leather conditioner and that vastly improved it both the look and the feel of it. I really like that the glove tapers across the wrist and over the heel of the hand...usually if I get slapped, it's right at the wrist. It's good quality and looks cool with my reenactor kit.I didn't like struggling with the leather lacing, so I pulled that out and replaced it with a brown elastic cord. I just tied it off where I wanted it and now I can just pull the glove on without unlacing it, and it snugs itself. The thing is made of good, solid leather, and well constructed. I would have liked to have seen a little more suppleness in the leather, but overall, a solid four (and a half) stars.

Great quality
Great quality, arm fit well, my only issue was that the finger "sleeves" were a bit too tight for my hand. Could probably get them to stretch a bit with some work.

Good quality material, bad quality design.
This product is made relatively well, but it is incredibly difficult to get in and out of. I don’t recommend getting this if you don’t want to spend half of your time getting in and out of the guard.

good leather, nice stitching
This product is very nice, although like most good leather, needs to be broke in for the perfect fit. Covers the arm and thumb nicely with double layers of leather on high wear areas for extra protection. Love it.I suggest a good leather treatment like neatsfoot oil for care of the leather and to help breaking in the fit.

Amazing quality
This is the best bang for your buck on a really high quality nice grain leather arm guard. I’ve seen some similar to this going for double the price on Etsy and they won’t have the Amazon guarantee so I’m really happy with this choice. For me the hand and finger portion is a little loose (I’m a female with small hands) so that’s something to keep in mind about functionality but I’m not complaining because once I put the bow in my hand it rests comfortably. All in all I’m really happy with it because of the thickness. It’s very adjustable even for a bigger arm like mine so I’m very pleased.

Comfy, but room for improvement.
TL:DR - Not bad at all. Very comfy, very nice aesthetic, but could be improved.Had this for less than 24 hours, and I just got done shooting about a hundred arrows. Here's my impressions.First off, it was too tight when it arrived, but I knew it would be. My measurements are just a shade bigger than the listed maximum. BUT, since it is made of good quality leather, I knew I would be able to stretch it out with some proper methods. Sure enough, with some hot water and patience, my thumbs fit nicely and the overall feel is nice and comfortable. I also had to modify the lacing scheme as well, but again, I knew that going into it because I'm a big guy with big arms. I put an elastic string on the front six holes, and the original leather lacing through the rear six. Works just fine... but I would recommend to Valhalla Gear that some brass grommets would not go amiss here. I plan to modify it in the future with a speed-lace setup, as putting it on like a glove is not super comfortable. In terms of performance: The arm guard section works perfectly. No string slap at all, and since it is integral to the 'glove' portion, it doesn't ride up towards my wrist like other arm guards have done. Full marks. The glove portion works well too, but not as it was intended. As you can see from the pictures, the double-thick pad does very little other than look cool.... at least with the smaller shield or vane fletchings. If you are shooting flu-flu arrows however, it might do more to protect you. But again, as the picture shows, with my arrows at least, all the protection is over the index finger's proximal phalanx. So my second recommendation for Valhalla Gear is to put a small double-thick pad there as well.Overall, I'm quite happy with this. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 instead of a full 5 is due to the room for improvement in the basic design. Otherwise, this is completely worth it. Happy shooting!
