Like Magic
This keyboard works flawlessly and seamlessly with Apple computers (iMacs, Mac Minis, Macbooks, even ipads). Pairing is very easy and straight forward. It's well designed and very stylish as you would expect from an apple product. I bought a silicone keyboard cover to give protection from scuffs, scratches and the occasional beverage spills. Battery life is very good lasting a few months, no need for battery change like the 1st gen, the battery is rechargeable and you charge it whilst you use it. You charge it using the lightning cable which is handy for iPhone users. The keyboard is sloped at an angle and the key strokes have a reasonable travel distance making typing fairly comfortable. My main criticism would be that the keys are not back lit but this is by no means a deal breaker. I highly recommend this keyboard especially If you're fortunate enough to get a refurbished/renewed one at a discounted rate. Hope this helps.

Really good keyboard, does what it claims
I have the earlier Apple wireless keyboard and actually purchased and installed this new version for a friend. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly for these reasons:1. The connection to your Mac is much easier - first time you open the box and use the included Lightning cable to connect for first charge, everything is paired up - seamlessly. No Bluetooth system preference, nothing else to do.2. I see some reviews comparing the construction with the older keyboard and saying this new one is cheaper. I disagree: it is differently made, but it is as usual really good quality. My friend was coming from a Windows system and had a 'proper' keyboard with it. First thing he noted (and has affirmed since) is how much he likes the Magic Keyboard - this is a man who uses it far more than most, a writer.3. OK, so on the old wireless keyboard you don't change the batteries every week, but AA batteries are expensive and it is a fuss to change them. The Magic Keyboard charges in a very short time through the USB/Lightning connector and is supposed to last about a month. That seems to be the case. In my view more convenient and economical.Yes, the keyboard is by no means cheap. But then if you wanted cheap, you would not have bought Apple at all, would you :-)

The perfect keyboard for the iPad Pro... Tradeoffs are worth it for sure.
Pros - rechargeable, smaller, lighter and easier to carry than the old Magic Meyboard.Cons - key travel shallower than the older Apple keyboards (though perfectly usable), noisy key action, odd cursor keys layoutAll the above is pretty obvious, and have been pointed out many times in published and public reviews. So what do I really think? It makes the perfect iPad Pro keyboard. Stick this in an Adore June Keeb case (search on Amazon), throw it in your bag, charge it once a month or so with your iPad charger, and you'll be creating content as quickly on your iPad as you ever have on your Mac... I can definitely live with the key travel and noise for the weight reduction and removal of AA batteries!

Apple Magic Keyboard Review!
Just recently bought an IMAC mini and bought this keyboard to go with it...First of all, it looks sexy - silver with white colour scheme makes it look proper smart, ultra light, super thin, very compact.Keys feel great when typing, make a nice tapping/clacking sound when hitting them (doesn't feel cheap). Got used to it really quick and enjoying it big time. Its a wireless, bluetooth connection, rechargeable keyboard so you can forget about batteries. Been using it for 4 days now and still on 86% so pretty solid battery. When you run out just stick it into a power source with a lightning cable (supplied) and you are sorted. All in all, great keyboard, difficult to fault. Maybe, if you have big hands you could find this keyboard a bit awkward to use as the spacing between the keys is smaller than usual.

Top price – top quality
Is this product worth the price? Probably not. It's silly money really. Having said that, this is the Rolls Royce of the keyboard world. It's beautifully made, feels sensitive and delightful to work with – in fact, it's so silky it's almost like it writes for you.Plus, a charge really does last ages, so there are no annoying 'replace batteries' alerts, as with its predecessor. When the power runs low, just connect it to your device for a recharge and carry on pecking away at the keyboard. The bottom line is, if you can afford it, and don't think it's insane to spend so much on a keyboard, this is a fabulous piece of kit.Oh, and it looks cool too!

A pleasure to type with.
Apple products are more expensive for a good reason and even this refurbished keyboard cost four times what you could pay for a bluetooth, rechargeable keyboard. I already own the original version, purchased second hand on Amazon for £40 in 2016 and it still works perfectly, but I use it with a MacBook connected to a monitor and purchased this one for an iPad. It is a proper Apple product, with a £ sign and I can’t see any signs of wear at all. It’s amazingly light and the keys have a real feel of quality, making it a pleasure to use. I know that Apple now make specialised keyboards with stands but an iPad is surely for using like a book at times and so it needs a cover / case which would have to be removed for the keyboards just mentioned. Also, if you update the iPad you, presumably, need a new dedicated keyboard, unlike with the keyboard in this review.

Not legitimate Apple
So this seems to be like a genuine Apple keyboard. Everything works, it's got genuine Apple logos. Mac detects it as a genuine Apple keyboard...... But...... The letting is rubbing off the keys after a month.... Rubbing off... I can't imagine that the keys are genuine Apple.... Something is wrong... Avoid.
