The beginning information states that if one understands somatic therapy, then you'll understand how to alter your existence forever. Some key somatic therapy concepts are provided in order that we will have a basic understanding of the awareness of our bodies and minds and aid in assisting us with opening up and thinking more about our emotions and physical issues.The author states that somatic therapy is very much becoming the norm for assisting those who have suffered post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and by including it into our daily routine it can help address a myriad of issues such as dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression, assisting with relationship and interaction issues, or helping boost self-confidence and belief in oneself.The author discusses indepth somatic practices to aid in our healing associated with any form of trauma. Some of these practices range from breathing techniques, meditations, to healing the inner child and many other techniques discussed in this book.I found this book very helpful, being I also suffer from PTSD. I highly recommend it for like potential readers.Book 2:Sound Healing for Beginners: Sonic Medicine for the Body, Chakra Rituals and What They Didn’t Tell You About Vibrational Energy (Sound Healing and Somatic Mindfulness)HEADING: Truly Beneficial Somatic Healing TechniquesAs a person surviving a deadly car accident, in which I was initially pronounced DEAD along with a passenger riding in my car, I found the information in this book very beneficial. It has been a pain staking journey trying to balance my fears, emotions and health.When I came across this book "Somatic Trauma Healing", I began to understand the correlation between listening to your body as well as your mind and making the connection between the two. At 3:13am, I found myself wide awake soaking in this vast wealth of information.The author discusses different types of "Trauma Therepy", i.e., Art Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Guided Imagery Therapy and Mindfulness. These are just to name a few of the techniques used in assisting those of us who have suffered Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and are currently battling the PTSD or Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD).The author discusses various types of therapies indepth and tips to assist individuals in finding themselves and some level of peace after trauma. There are several at-home DIY crash course in experiencing true body awareness through somatic secrets anyone can do in order to take control of their mind and body and no longer allow trauma and the effects of it control your life.The author emphasized sound therapy as being recognized as a successful treatment for Tinnitus, stating that sound therapy works through retraining the brain to stop the individual from noticing the sound, thereby eliminating the disturbance. While performing some of the different types of exercises dealing with sound therapy, i have benefited greatly. I normally feel a surge of loving warmth and peace. Especially, I enjoyed the exercise for relieving physical pain.This book/audible reading is a wealth of knowledge. I have already purchased a copy of the finished and published book. I highly recommend it to anyone who has experienced any form of trauma and have ant type of pain, fear, or any form of anxiety.

Great healing duo!
I will start with Somatic Trauma Healing:This is a truly unique book. To begin with, the cover is beautiful. I really appreciated the explanation and insight into somatic therapy and trauma therapy. The somatic mindfulness and breathing were quite helpful. There is a section on understanding PTSD, as well as attachment and shame trauma. I really enjoyed the different types of somatic practices and exercises that were in this book and the way that it goes over each practice and the exercise(s) attached to it is really helpful. It ends with techniques and other things that can help heal trauma as well.I found this book quite informative and helpful and i would definitely recommend. If you're not sure about this book, give it a try!Next Sound Healing:This book has a beautiful cover.This book goes over the importance and benefits of understanding sounds and how they can effect and influence our bodies. There are different types of sound therapy and instruments that can be used for this purpose. It includes different kinds of sound and mindfulness exercises ,as well as using vocal toning to your benefit and how to use it to help align and balance your chakras. It gives information, evidence and statistics about the negative effects of noise pollution on the mind and body. Also goes over how to use noise to your advantage and how it can be beneficial to you. It speaks about crystals and how you can choose crystals and use them to heal and find balance. I really like the inclusion of mantras , as well as the guided meditations. These are powerful resets for the mind and body.This is such a great and helpful guide and it gives real evidence about the effects of noise. I found the section of healing instruments fascinating and will definitely be purchasing some in the future. I found the section with vocal toning to be super helpful, especially with the different sounds. I fou nd found the pronunciation for the chakra ruined very helpful.Disclaimers : I received a free copy of this book from there author.Also these books are not a replacement for counselors or other help, but these can help alleviate and help you deal with some of your trauma.

Essential guide for self-healing
As a life and wellness coach, I use somatic therapy (yoga, reiki ...) and sound healing (mainly tuning forks and humming) daily in my practice. I have little time to read so I love how this book gave me the essentials without spending time on tedious science or personal stories. Easy to read and absorb, it's a practical guide anyone can use for self-healing or working with others. Vibrational medicine is the solution to a broken healthcare or "sick care" system, empowering individuals to take responsibility for their health and their loved ones or clients. By educating people in sound healing, this book points to a future where we have no more chronic illnesses and people can heal themselves.

Wide variety of options...
I have only read from the somatic part of this book but I am impressed with the diversity of tools available. I like the exercises from many types of approaches because it is not really a one size fits all process. You can find out which exercises work best for you and works best in different situations.
