The socks were so long (for me) that they bunched up behind my knee - that caused a whole new problem. I ended up giving them to my brother-in-law who is 6'4".

I ordered these as a back up while the compression socks that cost twice as much that my doctor prescribed are in the wash. I think though that these will quickly become my favorite between the two. While they are a bit thicker than the pair from the doctor, they are open-toed and much more affordable! I can wear these easily with sandals and they still do a great job. Will have to get more pairs soon!
