TESSAN Extension Cord 5 FT, Power Strip with 900J Surge Protection, Grey

Jay Fray delivering the enthusiastic truth about this TESSAN flat plug extension cord that has genuinely solved space-saving power distribution challenges! Purchased this 5-outlet extension cord expecting decent power expansion with space-saving flat plug design. The construction quality is legitimately impressive with durable housing, secure outlet spacing, and properly rated wiring for safe electrical distribution. The flat plug design delivers on its space-saving promise, allowing furniture to sit flush against walls without the protruding bulk that traditional plugs create. This seemingly simple innovation provides substantial practical value for room layout flexibility. Outlet configuration provides adequate spacing for larger power adapters without blocking adjacent sockets - a common frustration with poorly designed power strips. The 5-outlet count handles typical device clusters around desks, entertainment centers, or bedside tables effectively. Cord length appears appropriate for reaching wall outlets while providing sufficient slack for device positioning without excessive cable management needs. Build quality suggests this will withstand regular plugging/unplugging cycles without outlet loosening or housing cracks. Safety features like surge protection or circuit breakers depend on specific model configuration, though the fundamental construction quality inspires confidence for standard residential electrical loads. Value proposition is outstanding for solving the specific furniture-placement problem while providing reliable multi-outlet expansion at reasonable pricing. Jay Fray verdict: Outstanding extension cord that delivers practical space-saving design with quality construction and proper outlet spacing. This represents thoughtful product engineering that solves real furniture placement challenges!

I needed to power lamps on a sofa table tucked behind my couch, and the original cords just couldn't reach any outlet. This flat profile extension cord was the perfect solution. The best part? It's low-profile and just the right length – no giant coil of extra cord to hide or tie up. It lays flat against the wall and behind the furniture, so the installation stays clean and unobtrusive. No bulky plug block, no mess. It powered my lamps without any issue, and the whole setup looks neat and intentional. If you've got a tight spot or furniture against a wall, this is an easy, elegant fix. Highly recommend.

True to the listed dimensions and works exactly as expected! Love all the extra ports! The flat plug is especially convenient for fitting furniture close to the wall without awkwardly bending the cord. It feels durable and well-made, and it does its job perfectly. A practical, thoughtfully designed product that delivers what it promises.

Worked exactly as advertised. I needed the Tessan plug to plug into an outlet behind a door. Yes, the outlet is in a stupid location. When the door is closed, the outlet is visible and accessible. However, when the door is open (it is a sliding barn door style), the outlet is hidden. Thus, I needed something like the TESSAN cord to use that outlet to plug in my recliner. However, when I received the first one, my wife decided that I needed to use that plug for another almost zero-clearance situation behind the credenza upon which I mounted my TV. It works great there as well. Plus, it has four outlets. I have one power strip fully loaded, while the other currently has only one outlet in use. The one behind the credenza for the TV needed the 5-foot extension cord, but the 3-foot extension would have been better for my second application, but the 3-foot extensions were sold out. I didn't wait, I ordered what was available. They work great, they are compact, and they will get the job done. I recommend this product.

We were constantly scrambling for accessible outlets because most of the wall sockets in our home are hidden behind furniture. This TESSAN Flat Plug Extension Cord (5 FT) solved that problem perfectly. The ultra-flat plug design allows it to sit flush against the wall, so we no longer need to awkwardly pull furniture away just to fit a standard plug—everything stays neat and in place. The 5-foot length is ideal for extending reach without creating cable clutter, and the USB ports are a great bonus. They're super convenient for charging Apple devices, phones, tablets, and other gadgets—no need to search for extra charging bricks. Build quality is solid, and the surge protection gives us peace of mind for sensitive electronics. Overall, this extension cord combines smart design, functionality, and reliability. Highly recommend if you’re dealing with tight spaces or hard-to-reach outlets.

This is a great extension cord! The main feature is that the plug is flat, so you can place it behind heavy furniture or furniture that you don't want to move constantly. It has a power indicator, plenty of ports and it is so light.

Great, protected, extension corded power strip with a couple of plug ins for charging battery powered electronics

The power strip is very well made and made a tricky installation easy! It is smaller than most, but had all the accessories needed. Very good design!
