Powerful and Quiet, but Controller Could Be Improved
I recently added the VEVOR Inline Duct Fan to my hydroponic setup, and I’m impressed with its performance. The 4-inch fan delivers an impressive 205 CFM, providing strong airflow that keeps my grow tent well-ventilated. It runs quietly, which is essential for my indoor environment, allowing me to focus on my plants without distractions. The integrated temperature and humidity controller is a nice feature, helping me maintain optimal conditions for my plants. It’s straightforward to set up, and having this control makes a big difference in ensuring my plants thrive. However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. While the fan is powerful, I found the controller’s sensitivity could be better calibrated; sometimes, it seems to react slowly to changes in temperature and humidity. Additionally, the fan could be a bit tricky to install in tight spaces due to its design.Overall, the VEVOR Inline Duct Fan is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance ventilation in their grow tent or hydroponic system. Just be prepared to fine-tune the controller settings for the best results!

Moves A Lot Of Air Quietly
I snagged this combo during the Prime Day deals to run on my 60w CO2 laser for smoke extraction. I had been using a 4" online fan with a step down adapter I 3d printed. It worked, but wasn't the. Greatest and certainly wasn't quiet. This usit with the control panel and sensor was a nice upgrade. Mind you, it's primarily plastic, time will tell how well it holds up, but for the price paid, it's a sound investment. I mounted it behind the laser on the cart I built for it, connected right up with the ducting (separate purchase, same brand) and ran without any problems. I was impressed with the airflow, but moreso the lack of noise. It's literally 30% quite or more than the old style in line fan I was using.I don't think it's worth what it normally runs when not on Prime Day or a lightning deal, but when it is at those prices, it's a solid purchase.

Has been working perfectly in a extreme environment
We have been using this fan to expel heat from air compressor systems. Sometimes it can get extremely hot 120+ degrees but it has been working perfectly the display has been dependable and it’s still working smooth during the summer and the winter. Good for the price super easy to install will be purchasing more in the future

AMAZING POWERFUL FAN
This fan blew me away. I was making a cooling system for my laptop and wanted to run a 4 inch hose trgough the desk to the underside of my laptop. I purchased a random4 inch fan that was not very good so I decided to go larger. I happened to see this fan on sale and thought it may be too good to be true. Well it is not, i was going to go 6 inches but the 8 inch was less than other 6 inch fans so I bought one. The first time I turned this fan on I actually thought my laptop would lift off the desk. I coul only laugh at the amout of overkill for my needs I got. But hey overkill can be good. The little control unit that comes with it is a little chunky when trying to navigate but i like the fact its lit up and you can read it in a dark room. Tge speeds range from 1 to 10 and each one is a clear and progressively higher step in fan speed. I put a 6 inch reducer on my since I had 6 inch ducts alreadynand it was only going two feet from being mounted on my the underside of my desk through the desk to a cistom duct holder and stand for my laptop. I use a custom filter to try and minimize the dust being pumped into the laptop vents. It works really well and i never have to turn it up past 4 and it moves a lot of air. This fan is worth every pennyand it moves so much air that I buy a second one for my den to circulate the ac cool air since i only have one vent in a very large room..Short answer is this fan is powerful and moves a ton of air!!! You will not regret your purchase and sometimes it half the price of other less powerful fans. I paid 25 percent more than what i paid for my 4 inch fan that wont even blow a piece of paper. The fan can get louder at around the 7-10 range but i was surprised at the quietness in relation to the amout of air being passed through. Over good fan!

About half the price, but all the performance.
Simply put, this inline duct fan seems to be as good as any of the competing brands, and makes one wonder why the others cost so much more. The only issue I had was a loud high-pitched whine that came from the controller box even when the fan was completely off. (Since the controller monitors temperature and humidity, it's never really "off.") Then I got around to plugging in the temperature sensor cable (which not all competitors provide or support), and the whine disappeared completely. I guess some circuitry was switching on and off to check temperature, and with no sensor it made an audible switching sound. In any case, this is a flexible controller and a fully functional fan, and I can't find any fault with it. And it has an anti-back-flow feature so outside air doesn't blow back into the duct when the fan is off. Mine is installed on the high-pressure side of the shop, and there's almost always prevailing wind against that side of the building, but no indication of any draft back through the fan. This can be very important, not only to prevent heat loss, but also to prevent possibly toxic dust and particulates that accumulate in the duct from being blown back inside. I will definitely pay attention to other products from Vevor.
