Water based???? No it’s oil surely??

It’s an acrylic polymer suspended under a water thinable linseed oil

Is there anything that can be painted over this? Used on very old decking (after cleaning etc) but it still looks pretty awful.

I had the same issue. Its basically a protector,like putting vanish on! I painted mine with decking paint. AMAZING RESULT. But you def need to paint it as if from a clean slate..

It says 'decking oil' on the container, so I'm assuming it is an oil of some description. I've been using it since I built my decking 7 years ago and it still looks good.

Can i use this product on my wood floor in my lounge.

Interior surfaces require the finish to be tough against knocks and scratches, whereas exterior surfaces need water repellency as well as flexibility to adjust to constant temperature changes as well as protection against mould and rot.
