Comfortable
I needed a new office chair but I had a time constraint and I had to get it delivered on a particular day. After much deliberation I went for the Dripex chair with the cushioned seat and fixed armrests.Luckily, there was a £40 discount available, and after using it for over a month I feel that for £89.99 with the voucher it’s a decent chair. For the full price of £129.99 it’s a hard sell.Assembly is easy and completed in about 25 minutes, taking each step steadily. Everything fit together nicely. It would have been nice if the base was assembled, as it is quite time consuming to fit the five spikes to the hub.And now on to the sit test. I am very sensitive to a hard seat cushion and I would describe the seat cushion as firm, but comfortable. It doesn’t feel like the cushion is compressed and I’m sitting on the base of the seat, but I definitely have to adjust my sitting position occasionally, or stand every now and then. But sitting for too long in any chair is probably bad for the health, so this is no problem.Ergonomically, it’s a strange one. The gas strut doesn’t lift the chair too high. I’m 5’ 9” and the highest setting has my hips SLIGHTLY above my knees. So I don’t think this is suitable for tall people or those with long legs. But the seat cushion is very deep, which would not be comfortable for smaller people with shorter legs, even though the height would accommodate. Next is the armrests, which are a bit low for me. It feels like they would be more suitable for a taller person with longer arms, which matches the seat depth but counters the seat height. On to the backrest, the lumbar is fine, if a bit low, and the angle in the upright position is perfect. Headrest has an excellent range of adjustment and I can get is right into the curve of my neck when reclining. Overall on the ergonomics, if you are an average height certain aspects will be either perfect or okay. If you are taller or shorter then it’s probably not the chair for you.Build quality feels good so far, after about 6 weeks. The gas strut is still supportive, the fabric seems hard wearing and the mesh back feels robust. The arms are not 3D, so they should last, too. In fact , the only quality problem I experienced was the Dripex sticker on the back of the chair not being straight!Absolute overall verdict… if you are of average height and can get it for less than £100, go for it. If there isn’t an offer or if you are not of average height, it’s probably not the chair for you.

Amazing Office chair
Update on my previous review now 5 stars. I can't thank Sean enough for not only acknowledging and reading my review for also going above and beyond by providing me with adjustable arms. I attached as back at work yesterday after holidays and was so much better and comfortable to work in all day as well as the arms moving up and down they also can be turned inwards or outwards which was a nice surprise makes it much more comfortable for typing.Highly recommended this chair total support for my head, neck, back and arms very very comfortably. Thanks again Sean 🙂💺

Very comfortable and well made desk/office chair
Overall a very comfortable and well made desk/office chair.I am pleasantly surprised with how strong and solid every part feels. It is very good quality!I'm 6'5",120kg and the chair effortlessly takes my weight. The wheels, raiser, rotation and recliner all work smoothly.Putting this together was much quicker than the box and amount of part would have you believe. All the screws washers and tools are included and labled clearly. The instructions are printed clearly and easy to follow. I had this fully put together in about half an hour.I've been using this chair for a few days now, it is very comfortable. The seat foam is thick and not too soft, the back rest hugs my back nicely. Overall it feels very supportive on my back. I've even drifted off to sleep on it when it was in recliner mode.I'm very happy to recommend this product

Way better than previous chair
takes about 30mins to put together. well designed and the quality of materials is way better than my previous chair of a similar price. Very sturdy and comfortable.Tip; the bolts and washers are numbered, so using instructions and packaging keep them organised during assembly.

High quality, low height...
We've got a couple of office chairs in this price point and this Dripex Ergonomic Mesh High Back Chair is the best made of them. The frame of the main chair is better made and designed than others and gives the chair the look of something much more expensive. It's also one of the easiest to assemble with most of the main parts ready to just be bolted together. You have to assemble the wheeled stand from its components but once that's done the rest is very straightforward. There's a gas lift mechanism included and the packaging says it's the taller version but that's my main (and almost only) criticism of the finished chair - it's too low! I'm quite tall and a higher chair is more comfortable because I don't have to fold my legs up under me, but this chair has a seat height of just 50cm compared to my usual seat which is nearly 60cm high. If you're of more average height this might not be an issue but it's a big demerit for me and if I can find a compatible gas lift tube that's higher I'll be switching to that instead. We chose the green colour and it makes a nice change from the usual black or grey, it's subtle enough to fit into any décor that's based around natural tones. The overall look is a bit plastic, but it feels good quality with a smooth texture and sturdy construction. Really worth considering especially if you want to get away from the usual office grey, but be aware it's not very high.

Super comfortable
This chair has been a life changer for me. I work at home and spend a lot of hours at my desk and my body really does start to feel it. This chair has made a big difference providing me with lumbar support and also leg and neck support. The look is sleek and modern. I am really pleased with the look and feel. The arms are locked into place so this is a little annoying that you cannot adjust them but they are fairly comfortable. The assembly is really simple (other than some questionable wording in the instructions).Overall great value for money.
