Merry Sticks Smart Reflective Cane Holder

Nice inexpensive way to keep my came from tipping over. Easy to install and remove on cane for height adjustments. Really like the automatic fold away feature.

My wife uses on her cane and when table or desk is high enough it works pretty well. In some cases it is pretty easy to knock it off. Balance with the handle makes a difference. She doesn't take the time to move down for shorter tables like end tables. Just too much trouble and time.

It works well with my canes.

Snaps onto cane well, and the small ledge it provides will hold on to table edges loosely but well enough. Not a secure hold to table, but will suffice. When you remove it from the table the little ledge springs back to the cane and out of the way. Clips onto cane easily enough and won't drop off the cane accidentally. Not bad, worth the $12 price tag.

Mine arrived without any reflective tape, just a friction surface on both sides (but the one on the outer side is unusable because it can't contact any supporting surface). Also, the thing had no instructions or even any piece of paper at all, leaving you to figure out how to attach and use it. It did come with two 2-inch long pieces of Velcro, but I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how those are supposed to be used or where they are supposed to go. Through trial and error, I eventually found the hook works best snapped onto the cane shaft fairly high, but not so high that the cane touches the floor while you're using the hook.

My cane is 1.25" in diameter. This is made for 1 inch or smaller.

I have one of the Canes for heavier people , this clip will not stay on , or even balance the cane on anything , it may work good on light weight Canes , don't know , it looks well made ,but for us larger folks that uses the heavy duty Canes , this is not the one for you

After years of letting my cane drop to the floor I finally tried this cane holder. I purchased it because of the reviews and it did not disappoint. Very functional. Fits all of my canes & is easy to take on & off

I've bought one of these before so I knew what to expect. It is adequate though the walking stick doesn't sit vertical. I'd like the hinge & spring made to accommodate different stick weights by a tensioner or adjustment to ensure the tongue remains at a right angle to the stick. I also think the underside of the tongue should be rubberised for grip to smooth surfaces.

It works….but is it worth the price I paid which seems ridiculous given it’s a piece of plastic on a hinge. But it does work and it did solve a tedious problem of a cane constantly falling over. Now it will rest fairly well on a countertop or table top.
