It looks nice enough to leave it sitting on the stove. I love having the temp gauge on the top. I’m just really happy with this purchase.

The tea kettle is aesthetically attractive. The gooseneck spout allows for safe pouring into a vessel. Quite cute on the top of my stove.

Nice looking and functioning product. I purchased the copper item. If you utilize the widest burner, be careful not to expose the handle to the outer flame of the burner where the handle can get hot to handle or melt and catch fire. To prevent this, use the smaller burner, otherwise I’m happy with it. Pour slowly to prevent dripping

Purchased for my husband for the holidays. Couldn’t understand why he wanted another tea kettle since we had one already, but this thin gooseneck style is perfect for pour over coffee! It’s very easy to control pouring small amounts of water carefully in order to cover all the grounds. I’m sold! We’re considering buying a second one for our camper.

This little stovetop gooseneck kettle, at $30, is a fab deal. The gauge of the metal feels substantive. The angle of the handle is well-balanced for the volume of water it handles, and never heats up; and the lid fits tightly. I never thought I would need/want a thermometer on the lid, but this one tickles all the bits that the fancy digital electric kettles do, while being analog! I had an electric gooseneck for many years, but it recently kaput, so I thought I would try going more old-school, and do not regret it all. If you're looking for significant volume, this may not be the kettle for you; I would say it boils a generous 2+ cups at a time before risking a bit of peak overflow. But otherwise, this is a worthy purchase! It's a simple little kettle, but it checks all the boxes.

The media could not be loaded. Do NOT use this on an induction range with heating elements larger than the base. Something odd happens where the outer shell of the kettle begins to heat up instead of just the base (because it's steel, its all paramagnetic and begins heating up.) Then, the entire exterior of the kettle begins to SMOKE. Not steam mind you, SMOKE. It makes an awful chemical smoke and burning plastic smell, even coming from the handle! Our kitchen still reeks 30 minutes later. Watch the video, you'll see!
