Nicely engineered dovetail. The inclusion of a few bags of different machine screws and Allen keys is a bonus - always handy to have extras of those. Having many holes (threaded and pass through) and the central slot makes this a versatile piece of kit. Used this to replace a stupidly small, cheapo dovetail on a SkyWatcher 72ED. Highly recommended.

High quality build rail cheaper than most on the market but will definitely buy again

Well engineered and not too heavy. The marked measurement on both sides is useful. I'm using this for my guidescope mounted on telescope. It's ideal. Range of fittings is good and slot makes this versatile for attaching and adjusting balance. The only minor point is just give me longer fittings, they're fine but longer means greater versatility and you can always use a spacer.

This is a good quality and very versatile gadget but I to had return mine because it simply wasn't appropriate for my specific need.

I'm using this to shift my Celestron 8SE about 2 inches forward to allow the telescope to reach zenith without crashing my cameras into the base of the mount. It's sturdy yet lightweight, not adding any noticeable wobble to the system, although I'm probably going to have to add a counterweight.

Well made with loads of mounting options and a reasonable price.

La queue d'aronde de mon Skywatcher EVO72ED étant trop courte, cela rendait compliqué l'équilibrage du setup avec tous les accessoires. Cette queue d'aronde de 23cm de long fait parfaitement l'affaire bien que les vis ne correspondent pas au diamètre des anneaux de la lunette (j'ai repris les visseries d'origine). De plus, il y a des graduations blanche sur la queue noire ce qui permet de savoir où se trouve le point d'équilibrage afin que la mise en place se fasse plus rapidement au prochain remontage. Adjoint au colis, plusieurs visseries que je n'ai pas utilisé mais ça pourra toujours servir et des clés allen qui vont compléter le meubles à clés allen. Pour : Solide, gradué et de bonne longueur. Contre : Rien, parfait. Recommandé : Oui.

I've been surprised at the quality that Neewer comes up with for a reasonable price compared to more expensive "high end" astro gear. I've bought quite a few products over the past few years and I havent found a bad one yet. This Vixen is no different, I was pleased with the quality, the build and some of the added touches like the incremental markings. The biggest most appreciated quality was the weight at 1/2 the weight of the lesser sized bar I had been using for an added 4 Inches movement, and at this point in my rig this is destined for this Vixen is getting close to maximum the mount can handle, every ounce matters. Easy to mount using the added allen keys it was on my 6" Imaging Newtonian in a few minutes. Very satisfied.
