Good quality
The clamps hold the weights together tight. The grip is great. Looking forward to saving lots of money! 50lbs each, in the picture. Got 10, 5 pounders coming in the mail to make them 70lbs each. Eventually going to work my way up to 150lbs. Good idea if you want to save hundreds of $.

Just like described!
I gave them a 5 because they were exactly as described. However, I wish the handles were a little thicker or I wish I had gotten the ones with the rubber grips. With heavy weight on them, they really dig into my hand on bench press.

Great bars
They hold the weight and don't flex. I don't expect the rubber grip to last very long and you have to keep an eye on the retainer ends. They tend to try and unscrew themselves with many reps.

Been training for decades and even owned a gym and these are the simplest most effective dumbbells and collars that I’ve ever used . Simple but effective

Works great for a single dumbbell; two, not so much...
I'll start by saying that for my purposes, i.e., a single dumbbell, this set works great. However, it has several flaws, one of which essentially prevents both handles from being used. First and foremost, the rubber handle slips over the bar and is NOT secured, so it can be uncentered very easily when installing and locking on plates. I fixed this, again for my single dumbbell purposes, by using one set of locking collars to secure the handle position on the bar and the other two collars for the plates, rendering the second bar useless. Also, I bought a shorter (16") pair that didn't work out for me, but I did compare their weight and a shorter handle was heavier than the longer one - a little unnerving. Finally, as others have mentioned, the threading on these bars (or maybe the others?) is non-standard so the locking collars are not useable on other bars.

16 inches is the perfect lenght!!!
I was looking for a dumbell that was 16 inches long and could fir up to 5 ten-pound weight plates on each side of the bar, totaling 100 pounds. This bar allows me to bench, while holding 100 pounds in each arm ... exactly what I was looking for!
