Family Fortunes Board Game

Firstly I had to spend the Family fortune just to buy the game - seriously overpriced at over 50 quid!Disappointing that the buzzer didn’t work out of the box, like other reviews the batteries had corroded. Fortunately we had some spares….thus adding even further to the cost!!Finally, the complex instructions were too much to digest after a few Xmas day sherries.But, as big fans of the show we just improvised and copied the show format and had a lot of fun playing. Hence the three stars - great show, good game but very overpriced and disappointingly faulty on delivery.

A fun game, but very pricey for what is in the box. Although brand new, when I removed the the thin plastic strip from the buzzer, (protecting the batteries from draining) the buzzer didn't work. On opening the battery compartment, I discovered one of the three cell batteries had leaked and was corroded.

Game is good but on opening it Christmas day the buzzer did not work. Emailed the company but have had no response.Although it is only a buzzer it is part of the game and I would have expected a reply from the sellar

Ordered this game as we had played it last year at a friend's house. Was mortified when asked how much we had paid for it the response of the family - way over priced for a box with just a paper pad and question pad and buzzer which looks cheap and nasty. What was I thinking??? I am a huge fan of Amazon but will be very careful in future.

Good game but purchased two big buzzers for teams and caller used one in box .had fun with it all ages played .used large sheet of paper on wall like a score board as no one could remember th answers. Otherwise good game

All the family could play. Hours of good fun entertaining and educational at the same time. Good value

Fun game but the buzzer is rubbish quality

I’m not at all happy with this game. No where did I see the that it was second hand and nor would i have paid £20 for it had I known. The box is very shabby, it has 2 IKEA pencils and there appears to be something missing. Not impressed.
