I grew up in Cincinnati and no longer live in Ohio. I was so happy to find this on Amazon. I usually stock up when I go back to Ohio a few times a year but lately have not been able to purchase it in the foil pack only cans were available. Cans are heavy and hard to pack in your suitcase and I really don't like the taste of it in the can. I was thrilled when my sister told me I could get it on Amazon and ordered it right away. Thank you, Amazon, for carrying this.

This is superb chili and is a staple in the diet of anyone who grew up or lives in Cincinnati where the company is based. These microwavable pouches are great because they heat up in only 2 minutes and the chili is piping hot and ready to eat and require no refrigeration to store. MUCH easier and faster to deal with than cans of the chili which take 15-20 minutes to heat up and eat and mess up the pan you cook it in. They're a perfect option for a fast winter meal on a cold day.

AI summary is a lie. Not a good value for the money. The 8-pack used to be $52 not 6 months ago. Then you couldn't get the pouches at all. Then they finally came back for $59.99. You're paying for a whole other ouch that you don't get. The cost of them individually is even more insane. $14.99 for one meal? For chili? Does it have gold dust in it? There's hardly any ground beef in it and I've heard they actually use other ground beef parts like hearts as filler. Yeast is the secret ingredient that adds a lot of the beefy flavor. Their costs cannot have gone up that much. This is just plain price gouging. This is the only place I know of to get them so they are fixing the price with Amazon. I love the convenience of these but I'm glad I stocked up on cans before they jacked up the price on those too. Amazon used to be the only place I could get cans and pouches for a reasonable price since I live on the West coast. I guess screwing lifelong fans of certain products is just their business model now. 0/10, no longer recommend.

It's kind of thin & watery. Flavor is pretty good. I used to be able to get it in the form of a frozen meal, but not anymore. The frozen included the spaghetti, which was convenient. Basically, I can't get the real thing here in Chicago, so this will just have to do...
