Thought I would give it a bit o use afore I wrote a review ! Yup she is a peach alright .... Started off running it empty .... Lovely, tracks perfect barley even notice it's there ! Gradually built up weight ..... Now I run it fully loaded....... I am so impressed I only notice it on big climbs an even then it's no a problem ! Been out in the pi***ng rain ..... All kit bone dry, an that was at least 4hrs in real heavy rain. Easy to build ! Easy visable on the back o my bike ......great bit o kit ..... For touring for every day use . You need a trailer fur yer bike ..... This is the man fur the job .

It was easy to tow both up and down hill
Really impressed - loaded it with all of my gear for a re-enactment week end and then cycled 30 miles to the event. I was concerned about traffic being able to get past but this did not seem to be and issue the trailer is narrow enough for vehicles to overtake. It was easy to tow both up and down hill, you know it is there but I never felt out of control. I know it is expensive but we make up for it by only having to run one family car.

Great bike trailer but not very good customer service
Bought this for my bf's birthday and he seems to love it. Bike trailer is good quality, though I wish I bought it from a different retailer. Arrived 10 days after the estimated time even with faster delivery that costed extra (till 3+ months later the tracking still just shows it's on its way)! I wasn't so happy about that as I completely missed bf's actual birthday so I asked for a refund for the difference in the delivery fee but only received a very short email answer that rejects my request.

material tears easy
Material can tear easy if rested on back end to insert tow bar. Not good response from burley cust care. For this kind if price you would expect extra material protection like the nose guard on the front. Would not recommend for bumpy off road in case you hit a rock and tear material.Rides well. Very light. Good waterproof (unless you get a tear)!

Excellent and lightweight
All positive as described the best out there I have tried a few over the years. This is a keeper although a lot more spendy.

A really nice cycling camping trailer
I actually already had a good trailer, the TOPEAK Journey, which is a single wheel trailer, but you have to use the supplied axle replacement to use it and if you ride a bike with a hub gear system, such as a Rohloff, that’s a bit of a problem with the drop outs. This was purchased to use with a fat tire E-bike, a RadRover 6 plus to be exact so rather than get a headache trying to solve the axle problem, I opted for this trailer instead, which simply hooks to the supplied hitch that you bolt onto the axle. Now I did still have to buy an axle nut adapter to ensure that the hitch would bolt on safely with enough thread, but that was a relatively simple solution via a visit to the online resource Robert Axle Project, who were able to supply me with the correct adapter to suit my specific bike. The trailer itself is well put together and seems fairly durable. I am going to line the bottom of the trailer for extra protection and there are one or two tiny places at the base of the trailer that suggests a possibility of water ingress, although others have reported that they haven’t experienced this issue. I really like the push button wheel release, which I’m informed the older version of this trailer didn’t have, rather favouring a traditional quick release skewer. This update is way better. I may also upgrade the tires, as I have a Brompton that shares the same wheel size and I have a couple of spare Marthon Plus. I already prefer it to the Topeak single wheel Journey, although that one performed really well on the more off-road type tracks, but the Burley performs just as well and feels more sturdy and solid, at least on paved routes and actually takes more cargo and has a greater recommended weight restriction at 100 pounds. I also like how you can segregate the interior into two compartments to better organise gear, and the mesh side pockets on the inside will come in handy. The cover seems robust, although I have read that it tends to start to fray quite easily, time and use will tell. It’s quite pricey compared to some similar trailers I’ve seen, but Burley is a brand with a solid reputation for quality and customer support and thus far the performance of the trailer bears that out. All in all I’m very pleased with the choice.

Great cargo trailer, useful for so many things
Awesome “little” trailer. Not really so little though. It easily holds an XL duffle, a large hard case and room to spare. I haven’t packed it up yet for an eBike overnight camping trip yet, but I will when the weather is better. The material of the trailer is a (I’m guessing” about a 500D Cordura and I reinforced it by taking off the wheel assembly and attaching a cut to size 1/4” sheet of plywood. The box of the trailer is not level and the front dips down as shown in the photo. To do a complete floor on the interior means losing some of that cargo space at front. I am going to attach a separate sheet of plywood in the front area next, with a hinge joint. The plywood has been coated with a rubberized coating. This will protect the bottom of the trailer from road grime or if going over sharp sticks or rocks.Comes with a high viz buggy whip, front and rear reflectors; I am going to add an additional rear flashing light. THe top cover secures with bungee corded clips. It’s attached at two points. High quality, thick rubberized cargo cover, absolutely waterproof! The stock tires are pretty skinny and I am putting the fat tires on as soon as they arrive. **Update March 1**. New Burley Fat Tires now installed and they are awesome! Such a great upgrade to make. I’ve also finished the under-carriage. The frame of the trailer is bolted to the plywood bottom which now covers the entire undercarriage of the trailer, making it impervious to rocks, sticks and other pokey objects that could tear the nylon shell. The undercarriage plywood is completely protected with a rubberized coating which will keep the interior of the trailer dry when riding in wet weather. Plus it protects the nylon shell from wear and tear on the inside because it is better supported. I found that putting a simple sheet of plywood inside ended up causing me to lose all that extra space where the front of the trailer dips down, because it is NOT flat. If you think that lost space is inconsequential, think again. When packing for a multi-day trip every little bit of space counts. The trailer is extremely light weight, I can lift it easily and carry it with one hand. The frame is aluminum, light weight but strongly built. The trailering arm can be placed to the right or the left of the trailer for towing behind a bike.I have the Rize Leisure and didn’t need any extra parts to attach the trailer to the eBike. All in all, this is a great trailer, even without the modifications I did, you’ll enjoy being able to use it for so many things. Would I buy it again? YES!
