This stuff is good. Smell isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger, kind of an oceanic scent scape? Lolz. So my scalp was gross. Somehow simultaneously dry and itchy but also oily and gross and I’m pretty sure I was getting pimples. (I don’t even know if that’s possible?) Regardless, super glad it wasn’t visible to the human eye. I’ve tried some oil-based “scalp serums” that are non-comedogenic (that’s a fun way of saying they don’t clog your pores), I’ve done some DIY scalp masks, and I’ve tried Prose pre-shampoo scalp mask. They all smelled nice and my hair felt softer for a day or so but then the dry/oily combo would come back and I’d go back to fantasizing about shaving my hair off. I mean - I have wanted a scalp tattoo for a while. ANYWAY — I massage this stuff (Pacifica scalp smoothie? Or whatever it’s called?) into my scalp for a WHILE after I shampoo (not because you’re supposed to or something, I definitely didn’t read the instructions, the massage just feels amazing) and then pull it through my ends and the dry oil doesn’t creep back in and my hair overall seems less angry that I live in the desert and deposit purple color on it.

This is a real treat. It feels so good on my scalp. I leave it on for at least an hour and when I wash it off, my hair is so bouncy and full. I also notice my blow out lasts and my hair looks great for days! My hair and scalp feel so clean and refreshed! I plan on using this weekly especially since I plan on pool days in the summer.

I have given this hair mask a 4 instead of a 3 because it seems to be helping with my itchy, flaky scalp. Not a miracle cure, but good so far. However there are two issues a prospective buyer should know about. First, this is NOT a leave-in treatment! Three times in the description it is referred to as leave-in. But, if you dig into the images, you will find one that says: "Apply to scalp and massage. Rinse Clean." The instructions on the jar say the same. Trust me, you would not want to leave this in your hair! Second, if you wash and rinse your hair in the shower, this product can leave a slippery film on the floor tiles that is a fall hazard. Our floor tiles are textured to help avoid slips and falls, and they were still slippery after rinsing this product out (because, yes, you do have to rinse it out). I have been using a handheld shower attachment to rinse over the drain. It's a bit awkward, but it eliminates having to wash the floor tiles with soap after showering to remove the slippery residue.

I don’t usually bother reviewing on Amazon, but I needed to for this product! Very mild fragrance but I don’t believe it’ll cause migraine. I have 2A-2B med-high porosity south East Indian hair w an itchy, scalp on & off but gets oily by day3. I usually dry scalp massage w my finger tips everyday as it promotes great hair growth & unclogs follicles. Sometimes I land up feeling my head itch greatly after the dry massage & badly want to scratch it . I researched a bit & decided to try this. Right from the 1st pre-shampoo application I did NOT feel any scalp irritation post dry scalp massage. Great slippage to allow for a smooth in-shower scalp massage& detangling. Tub says you could use for hair lengths too. Due to hair type, I prefer to use it as a scalp treatment only & my usual condtnr during conditioning time. My head feels calm. My hair isn’t flat after hair-care. Some say use every wash but I use it once a week. Again results will be subjective to each person. Give it atleast 3 uses before you make sure this isn’t for you✌🏽

I really did love this, but my scalp unfortunately did not. The good: it is cooling in the scalp, actually left my hair feeling clean and soft, and smells really good The bad: every time I used this it caused my dandruff to flare up, leading to lots of itching and flaking. It would take a couple of days to flare, and then I would have to use my special shampoo to get my scalp back in balance. Conclusion: this is a great scalp treatment and no poo if your scalp can tolerate it. I do recommend it unless you struggle with scalp issues like dandruff.

This is a great product! I really like the end result, I'm someone who has very curly, fine hair and an extremely sensitive scalp. This works so well! I saw some reveiws saying they didn't like how it seemed like it was too expensive for too little product, but honestly, all you need is a dime or nickel sized amount and you'll still have product on your hands after using it. I've had it for almost a month now, I use it a lot, (like almost daily) and I still have over half the container left. For me, it was worth the buy. :)

I absolutely love this stuff!! My scalp feels amazing, hydrated, and it smells great (without feeling greasy). The only draw back is the price. I think its too little product for the price.

I was sceptical but order it because I was desperate. I had a lot of itching that was driving me crazy. This product works marvelously, stop the itching and leaves my hair very soft and with volume. On top of everything, for me is a must, is vegan!

I used this on my hair and my daughter’s hair today. I had a dry scalp and her hair was dry and dull. Both our hair is so shiny and silky smooth now. My scalp is no longer flakey and itchy either. Can highly recommend. And the smell is amazing too.
