Well designed Kit from 1994 - looks great and fits well
This is a great kit - that can be improved in the Cockpit with the Photo-etch set by Eduard and also look out for the undercarriage legs which have injector marks that need to be removedThe Macchi is one of Hasegawa's older toolings from 1994 , and it show in the simplified cockpit and wheel wells.The wheel wells in particular are complex and full of hoses, wires, etc., and these details are conspicuous in their absence.Eduard comes to the rescue with this Brassin set. It consists of 25 parts, 9 of which are resin. The remaining 16 are photo-etched pieces on a single fret. All of the pieces are up to Eduard's customary standards. The resin parts, which comprise the lower rear of the engine and various hoses, pipes, etc., will look outstanding with careful painting, an application of dry brushing, and an oil wash.
