I used this for my door. As a door strike. It works. It’s did not work for a moment but I had installed it on the wrong spot. All good now

I had a few door frames that were slightly misaligned as well as damaged screw holes from years of removal/reinstall. Likely they were installed poorly from the beginning. This is an easy solution. I should have chiseled out the frame to inset this strike plate, but I'm a little worried about it looking terrible after I screw up the chisel job. Anyways, great value for the money and the door frames look great.

The person who installed the original striker did not align to the door properly and the door never closed properly until this new striker was installed. The key, is the screw holes to secure this striker are in different locations than the standard striker allowing the proper alignment and adjustments with fresh new screw holes.

Good quality for the price

Doesn’t fit the standard opening on steel doors. Ordered from other brands that fit, only this brand doesn’t fit standard opening for this type of striker.

This is made of heavy steel. Very good quality.
