Great for checking blood sugar after meals
I’ve been using this blood sugar testing kit for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping track of my glucose levels. The device is straightforward to set up, and the instructions are clear—even if you’re new to testing, you’ll feel confident using it right away. The readings are quick and consistent, which is exactly what you want for daily monitoring. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t require a large blood sample, making the testing process more comfortable. The test strips are easy to insert, and the lancet is simple to adjust so you can find a setting that works best for you. One feature I really like is the memory function, which stores previous results. This makes it easy to see trends over time without having to jot everything down. For someone tracking general wellness, this is a huge plus. The kit is compact and portable, so it fits easily into a bag if you want to keep it with you during the day. Battery life is solid too—I haven’t had to worry about replacing it frequently. Overall, this is a dependable, user-friendly testing kit that takes the stress out of blood sugar tracking. It gives peace of mind and helps you stay on top of your health without any unnecessary hassle. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a reliable way to monitor glucose levels at home or on the go.

So far so good
So far so good! Pretty easy to set up, instant result in 5 sec. Important: Insert a test strip into Meter FIRST, prick a fingertip to collect blood, then apply blood sample to the test strip already in the meter. DO NOT apply blood sample to a strip and insert it to a meter, you only get an error, which I did with the very first one carelessly and I thought it's a faulty one, but it is not. It clearly shows how to in “Quick Guide” provided if can’t bother to read a booklet provided ^^. I have learnt the difference between mmol/L and mmol/mol as below, for people like me (novice and didn't know well about what blood sugar level are all about, and it is very hard to get an appointment with a doctor to explain it all these days. This monitor is only for instant or current “snapshot” of your blood level at the time of the test (measurement unit = mmol/L). HbA1c (shown on your NHS blood test result) is a Long-Term Average (over 2~3 months) shown in mmol/mol, which is used to determine if you are non-diabetic, pre-diabetic or diabetic ranges. I have just entered into “pre-diabetic range” which is 42~47 mmol/mol = a warning sign, and advised by a doctor to follow an appropriate diet so as to avoid developing type 2 diabetes. In 6 months’ time after monitoring blood sugar level (I don’t necessarily test everyday), I’ll be invited to have another HbA1c blood sugar test to see how I have been doing with my diet. I’ve given 4 stars as I don’t know how accurate this is, but a blood test in 6 months’ time will show as almost daily test results with this kit shows 4.3~5.3 mmol/L which is in the lower part of normal glucose level. Lastly I check my blood before breakfast after waking/getting up in the morning which is recommended. Hope this helps.

Good Product - Highly recommended
So I’m doing intermittent fasting and needed something to monitor my blood sugar levels over a period of time. Plus wasn’t sure I wanted to spend >£50 on a CGM that would only check for 14/28 days etc. After reading many a review I opted for this one. As well as good reviews replacing the lances and strips seemed easy and cheap enough. Good manual and quick guide to get you started - nice clear pictures. Did waste a few test strips initially due to insufficient sample size. You can adjust the depth of the lance - was a bit of a wuss thought a lower setting would be less painful - honestly just start at 3/3.5 the latter works best for me. You’ll need a drop of blood about 3mm in diameter, too small and you’ll waste a test strip. Error code E-7. Also I did bend a few lances pulling off the disc on the top, recommend rotating it several times before gently pulling it off. Also does say keep and then push the lance into the front to dispose. Personally thought this could get knocked off, so I push it at an angle on the kitchen tiles, to bend it flush with the plastic. This way it can’t prick anyone. All packs away quite neatly in the bag supplied - see photo. So glad I bought this as at one point after doing exercise post not eating for 48 hrs my blood sugar was just 3.0 so ended my fast immediately. Found it easy to use, hence highly recommended.

So far a week in use very good
Works well. Use the quick guide to set it up - it’s less confusing than the full manual! If the future purchase of extra test strips and lancets is easy and economic I will regard this as excellent value.
