I highly recommend this book for anyone learning Algebra for the first time! The fundamentals are explained so thoroughly and clearly. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it completely pays for itself. So worth the money!

This is an excellent book with a solution companion. I use it to teach my kids and they have become at least 3 times better in math by merit of this book alone. I have read a lot of math books, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to find one that truly makes your unwilling, scared child develop a curiosity for math. This book does exactly that, and more. It has some excellent challenge problems with each chapter, and as a math lover myself, I can assure you, this book and the other books in this series are all you need for your child's junior, middle and high school math learning. What I also love about this book is that it is for everyone. My elder son used to struggle with even basic math, and my younger son was somewhat of a math prodigy. The book worked for BOTH of them. If you ask me, that's a remarkable feat! I wouldn't hesitate for a second to say that this is the best book in math I have come across in recent times.

Very well-written book. It goes from one topic to another in an organized fashion. The best part about the book is the answer key.
