This product solves two common problems. One is the ease of tightening down the toilet. I was having some problems getting the toilet to set properly on a Korky wax-free seal. Basically, I sat on it to compress the foam seals, and it works perfectly with only hand tightening. The other problem is one that most of us have experienced. I hate it when I'm mopping the bathroom floor or cleaning the toilet, and the bolt cap comes off and rolls across the floor. This "nut" is basically one piece, so there's nothing to separate. I admit I was suspicious of the fact that it is all plastic, but it seems quite durable. I will get these again, since I have to replace my other toilet. I will also buy another Korky 6000BP seal—I never seem to have much luck with wax seals, plus they can be very messy.

I was raving to my son about how great these were when one of the bolts snapped off under what felt like normal load. The other side worked great. We did have to install and reinstall the toilet 3 times because of unrelated things (like a defective wax ring) but even still, it felt like one of the bolts was too weak.

Works quite well and very easy to install. Be careful not to over-tighten as the bolts will turn and pop loose from the flange. This would be the only fault and perhaps future versions should include a screw-on washer that can hold the bolt more firmly in place (preventing the bolt from turning while tightening the cap). No tools required. No metal parts means no rust.

A little pricey, but nice not to have to cut bolts off etc. In the end they are worth it if it solves your problem easily...

Worked just as advertised, no cutting bolt and can tighten by hand if needed.

I didn't read the complete description and did not realize that these bolt covers only work with the included bolts. You would have to take off the toilet and replace existing bolts under the seal, etc. in order to use these covers. I only wanted bolt covers.

I have used these toilet bolts on three replacement toilets in my house, they make it so simple to attach the base of a toilet to the flange, a real time saver!! I absolutely love them!
