Best tape measures ive ever had, didn't think you could improve on Stanley tape measures that I've used for years but I really would go for these as a first choice having used themThe designers have really thought about these and it showsDouble sided tape measure and the first one I've had that is impossible to snap on your fingers if you let go of the button (everyone's done it lol)

The tape is excellent quality in every way a tape measure could be. Stainless steel construction throughout ensures rust free operation when exposed to wet environments. However, I can only give four stars as the product photos, description and packaging is misleading (through omission) as they suggest that the product is metric only (what I needed). This tape has the conventional metric and imperial scales.

this tape is truly amazing. the best design i have come across.smooth at coming out and only retracts with a push of the button a light push.feels good in hand. measurements on both sides is good.and stands by its self for up to 3m.well chuffed. bought the 8m one first found it to big and heavy for carrying around,better for bench work maybe. 5m just right

(-E for M/I)"There doesn`t appear to be any way of ordering either the `E` metric or `M/I` metric/imperial so I concluded that the E on the end of MTS-5-25-E would be the mEtric version. Wrong. The MTS-5-25-E arrived ...not sure what the E at the end stands for but it isn`t metric because the packet contains the M/I and had to be returned. The ordering details for this product need to be revised to allow the purchaser to select either the E or M/I model. But if you want a M/I tape measure then they don`t come much better than this. This really is a quality product and I am really looking forward to getting my hands on a metric only version.

Had 3 of these tape measures over the years.... can’t fault it at all, two sided as well which is great !.

Not bad, purchased as a replacement to my previous tape which lasted a long time. Does the job nicely

My favorite tape measure by far. love that it has metric and standard as well as scales on both sides of the tape. Also, the auto lock feature is nice.

I spent $50 on this, I thought this time I have it.. this time, this'll be the real deal. This will be worth it I know it.I live near the ocean and work in industrial construction, and it rains 5 days a week to boot, my tape measures do not last long. I've bought dozens of Fat Maxes and Coated Tape measures over the years just because I needed them, and they never seemed to last more than a month.I came across this tape, I put alot of research into it before actually buying it.. 100% Stainless Steel, even the blade is Stainless... This wont Rust, we Gaurantee it.Well, its been about 36 days now and guess what... ITS RUSTING. The blade has started to Rust and Peel and I've been down this road before where once the rust starts, it doesnt have long left, soon it'll start peeling away entire sections, and within a week or two the blade will be so badly rusted and peeled it wont be able to be read, and eventually the blade will snap off.What a waste of money, do not buy this, it is not true stainless steel, because IT RUSTS. Its funny how it started to rust RIGHT AFTER MY RETURN PERIOD EXPIRES.Will I ever find a true water proof, rust proof tape?Why cant someone just made a stainless blade and laser etch the numbers on them? Thats a tape I'd pay $100 for, thats a lifetime tape. Not these garbage $40-50 tapes that last a month.

I didn't know a simple tape measure could be so good. This is such high quality and makes a complete difference in measuring anything. Measurements are printed on both sides of the tape for easy viewing, the magnetic tip is STRONG.
