I used to use bulky pet carriers made of hard plastic. They were hell to carry with my bad back. I looked around for a carrier made of material that was light weight and bought another brand which I returned - too flimsy. This carrier which I use to take my 2 girls to the vet fit the bill. They're well made, light weight and comfortable to carry. Wish I had bought this sooner!

I got this carrier 6 years ago and it has held up well to cat claws. It's well made.

I'm moving about 900 miles from my current location in another month and did quite a bit of research to find travel cases for 2 cats and 2 very small dogs. I have a moving company taking my household items, but I will be driving two days in my SUV to get to my new home. After looking at a great many travel cases for small pets, I chose this one because I had to buy four - these were just at $21 each so having to buy four didn't set me back too much, considering. I received them today, opened the box and pulled the top one out of the plastic to check it out. First, it collapses down to the dimensions of a medium-sized purse so it can be easily stored. Second, it comes with a fleece-lined removeable hard-bottom piece that helps give this soft-sided carry case good sturdy structure. It also has straps to carry, a removeable shoulder strap and a way to strap the carrier with a car seat to keep it still, plus inside, it has a clip for your dog/cat's collar so they can't just bolt from the carrier when you open it to provide food/water or remove them like at the vet's office. I can't express how pleased I am with my choice in getting four of these for my impending trip with four pets.

Bought these for our two cats (7lbs and 9lbs) for our move to Japan. They are decent quality, they have a shoulder strap and a handle for either way you'd like to carry them. The side pocket is nice for stashing snacks or calming collars ;) my biggest issue is probably with the airlines than with the company who makes the bags. We checked with our airline the appropriate size carrier to get and this bag met the criteria, however when sat down in our seats (economy plus on United) the bags did not fit under the seat no matter which way you tried to stow it. And I was left with no leg room on an 11hr flight to Tokyo. But like I said, that's most likely an airline issue with seats getting smaller and smaller and smaller. Side note: allow extra time if you are flying with a pet as baggage. Also, while we were allowed to skip the long security line, TSA will make you take your pet out of the carrier and walk it through the metal detector, my cats were not a fan of this and neither was I.

We tried these after having battles royal trying to get our cats into those traditional hard case, front entry carriers. We only need carriers for transporting to the vet, and they worked beautifully. The top-entry flap is large enough to make placing the anxious cat inside, and easy to zip up. The padded, removable board that sits on the bottom of the carrier gives it plenty of structure, stability, and stiffness. The whole carrier is easy to carry using the hand straps or shoulder. Tip: we put Hartz regular size Dog Pads over the bottom board to guard against messes. One of our cats did both kinds of mess on the way to the vet. When she came out for her exam, we simply removed the pad and voila, the carrier was perfectly clean. Extra pads can be stored in the end zipper compartment. Excellent value and functionality.

Just reviewing this now, 5 years after we bought it. Our cat is big, now 16.5 lbs, down from a chunky 18 lbs.Even at his largest, this bag was sturdy and big enough for him.We leave it out because it’s in his rotation of daytime sleeping locations.I don’t think we’ll ever need another travel bag.

I bought three of these for my three kitties and they're great. They are well made, sturdy, and the bottom insert is really nice for the cat to feel comofortable and secure. I am really digging this purchase, it's way better than the plastic carriers I'm used to. They're great for traveling, the cat seems more relaxed in the carrier. When I bought mine I left them out on the floor for the kitties to check out and get used to, they walked up and started sitting in them right away.I ordered 2 mediums and 1 large. My large carrier is for my big girl who is 12.5 pounds, the mediums work great for my 7 and 8 pound kitties. Just for perspective.Great purchase, great price. Would recommend.

I needed a carrier for my new rescue kitten's first vet check up, and due to a time table I resulted to amazon since the local pet stores had small selections.I have never had a cat before but I have always disliked the big, chunky, plastic carriers I always see with cats. I was interested in this carrier because it does not even look like a carrier, more of a small duffle bag.It is perfect for my needs. Since I purchased less than a month ago, she has gone to the vet twice and also on a road trip with me. Its convenient with two different entries. A top entry to drop the kitten in and a side entry to let her walk herself in. The mesh is awesome because you can keep an eye on the kitten and to me I feel as if the kitten would not feel confined.I would say check the measurements. I got a medium and she is under five pounds. She fits but I guarantee I will have to size up before she gets to the ten pound mark.I highly recommend. It is easy to carry. Like I said, it is basically a gym duffel bag. Two small handles or a strap to drape around your shoulder. One of my neighbors who has had cats her entire life saw me carrying her in it and she ordered one the same day.

This M-sized bag is a great fit for my 3.7 kg European short hair. (She is quite small).It is very well designed with the mat, the waterproof floor, the top hatch and the extra side pocket. My cat slept in it the moment it arrived. It is very sturdy and didn't collapse at all even when open. It handled some intense scratching (panic) during our first take off. I don't see any marks.My cat personally loved sitting with her head out of the top.Only two cons (not to fault of the bag): the leash was a bit long (she was able to jump out of the bag even with it on), and it didn't fit under our airline seats (KLM economy class in two flights, see fotos). But the attendants didn't seem to mind at all.

I love how it collapses and folds away for easy storage, it is much more light weight compared to any previous carrier I've used, the mesh is completely cat-proof and secure, I like how you can secure your cat's collar and also how there are several openings, the pocket on the side is surprisingly spacious and can fit many things. My cat was so comfortable that she found herself grooming and napping during her very first ride home! Only thing I wish is that I could see her more clearly as the mesh is dark, as you can see in the picture. If you have a big cat I would also recommend that you buy the larger size.

Good size, sturdy, I like that it is collapsible.

I looked at all sorts of carriers to be honest didn't want to pay a fortune its my first puppy its cost me alot of money to start up ....its like having a baby , without the stress of answering back and paying for college lolHe is not hear till the 18th September Amazon has been every purchase I have needed and this looks pretty good I put a look alike puppy which has some weight to it its used to hold corners of outside rugs or extra weight on umbrella stand to see if it would hold out lol walked around with it worked really well love it has 3 sides so puppy can see will keep you posted how it really works when I have the real thing lol
