Selections Wooden Bat Box with Landing Perch

Well made, need a bit more sophistication in the way it fits though - I gave mine a coat of varnish to make it more weatherproof. Good value for money, but loses one star for silly fitting arrangement - just one small hole in the back!

This was a Secret Santa present for someone who loves looking after the environment and the animals

Great little bat box that looks good and is well made, just waiting for it to become occupied. Good service and a great price.

When the item arrived it was in a box with several other items. All the other items were all bubble wrapped and intact. This bat box was just put in the box without any further protection....The result is a bat box in several pieces, with one piece actually broken in half-beyond repair.Now, I know that accidents happen and I can return the item. But I now have the inconvenience and expense of having to repackage the item, as it came with other stuff in a huge cardboard box, wait in for a delivery pick up, and print off a label. Not a big deal in the greater scheme of things, but it could have been avoided if someone had bothered to wrap this item properly, as they had done with the other 5 or 6 items in the box. The bat box itself seemed of reasonable quality, but I can't give it more than 1 star as I cant use the thing.

Not sure yet if the bats like it - but there is a note on the label that it could take some time before the bats move in. The little perch is attached with screws into end grain - never really successful so this makes it a bit "floppy". I left mine in place to look out for "droppings" as evidence that something has taken up residence. Think carefully about buying and installing. To disturb a bat roost is against the law and could result in a large fine. So once bats do move in then you are sort of stuck with it. Just leave it to rot away - so again, take care where you put it!

Very Cheaply Made. Our 10 year old Grandson looked at it and said Grandpa, I could make that out of one plank and 6 nails for a£1!!.

This product is well made and easy to place in a garden if you have the right conditions for bats in your area. Don't forget if bats do roost in your box they are protected by law to not remove them so you need to consider this before you put up your box and it becomes a bats home.

Belle fabrication, pose facile, peut-être dans un endroit trop ensoleillé car pour le moment il n'est pas habité alors que d'autres échanges seraient installés dans le même temps (du même style mais pas le même modèle) ont été habité dès les premières semaines. Il n'y a pas de raison que cela ne leur plaise pas

Qualité moyenne moyenne.Les planches ne sont pas bien coller entre elles du coup, la lumière passe. Moyen pour des chauves-souris.
