Legit CBRN Protection
Mira Safety is an established, well-regarded manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), used and endorsed by militaries, public safety agencies, and preparedness aficionados around the world. I own a variety of Mira Safety products (including tactical full-face passive respirators, a powered air-purifying respirator, and filters), and am consistently impressed by the quality and durability of everything they sell. These heavy-duty butyl rubber hazmat gloves are rated for protection against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. They are suitable for decontamination and re-use, and have a shelf-life of up to 15 years (much longer than typical butyl gloves). Their price tag reflects that pedigree. The gloves are ambidextrous. (Don't waste time, as I did, trying to distinguish a right glove from a left glove.) They intentionally fit snugly. For better articulation, the gloves feature corrugated joints across the knuckles and thumb webbing. The fingertips and palms are textured for improved grip. These gloves arrived without any special packaging, just a light dusting of mineral powder, in a plain cardboard box. To maximize their shelf life prior to use, store them in a cool (41โ77 degrees Fahrenheit), dark, and dry (less than 75% humidity) location, isolated from exposure to ozone, chemicals, oils, and solvents. These gloves are a permanent addition to my PPE prepper inventory. I am very happy with them, and pleased to recommend them for your use.

Heavy-Duty Protection with MIRA Safety NC-11 CBRN Gloves
The MIRA Safety NC-11 CBRN Gloves are a solid pair of protective gloves designed for heavy-duty industrial work. These gloves offer a good fit, especially with the range of sizes available from XS to XXL. The material feels tough and durable, providing a sense of security when handling hazardous materials. One of the standout features is the chemical resistance. The gloves are built to withstand a variety of chemicals, making them suitable for various industrial applications. They have a good grip, which helps in maintaining control when handling slippery or dangerous substances. Comfort is another area where these gloves perform well. They fit snugly without being too tight, allowing for good dexterity. The gloves are also reusable, which adds to their value. After multiple uses, they still maintain their integrity and protective qualities. While they are on the pricier side, the level of protection and durability they offer justifies the cost. If you work in an environment where chemical exposure is a concern, these gloves provide the necessary protection to keep your hands safe.

Great gloves for handling whatever nastiness life throws at you
I know these are sold for hazardous chemicals and industrial / military work. I am going to focus on reviewing them for more ordinary tasks. They resemble to me just much higher quality dishwashing gloves, and they are really handy to have around the house for whenever you want to handle something biologically hazardous, such as perhaps grabbing onto under hangs where venomous spiders like to lurk, or cleaning out moldy or rotten food, or cleaning up roadkill. I got the XL size and I think these are comfortable to use for these more everyday tasks, but if I were going to use them with a firearm I'd want a large or medium to get a tighter fit on the fingers even though I think this would be a lot more uncomfortable to get on and off. I like these over all the other gloves I have because with these they are very durable and not likely to cut or tear when working with something I really don't want to touch. They definitely seem worth the money even if you aren't planning on ever using them for their intended purpose. They are just good rubber gloves.

Save your money and buy cheap plastic ones
Other than smell really bad of chemicals there is nothing remarkable about this gloves at all. In fact, I'm pretty certain they would fall apart after using them for the simplest chore. I don't know what material they're made from, but I couldn't get the stink out of my fingers. It's this strange unpleasant chemical smell. Is gloves aren't quite rubber and aren't quite latex. There's something in between that just really doesn't do anything. There are so many good gloves out there that you could get instead of these that I would just stay away from them. I bought them to use when cleaning our water filters with muriatic acid. I would never wear these gloves to do anything dangerous. They just seemed like they would crack or melts in the acid or something just as bad.

Gloves
I took these to a friend's lab to test these out. They work effectively. They're thick and they kill manual dexterity (it's definitely hard to do somethings that require very fine motor skills/fine finger usage), but these seem durable and keep out many chemicals. Just be realistic and don't expect it to protect you from a dip in super strong acid or volcanic hot liquid. I didn't test these against nuclear stuff, so can't vouch for that. I'll get more of these to give to friends still working in foreign conflict zones. They're like a super version of cleaning or dishwashing gloves.

Shorter than I thought they were
They have some dust/dirt feeling stuff inside the cuff. My husband says it is probably talc to keep it from sticking together. But I donโt like it : ( because it does not seem like talc to me but dust that has picked up some debris. Oh well as long as they do the job, which hopefully they will. They are the shorter gloves and not the kind that come almost up to your elbow. So depending on what you are using them for that is something to also keep in mind. But based on what I can tell so far I would recommend this item and this brand.

Flat gloves
They are stout, but not overly bulky. Decent flex. Really functional flex zones, those ribbed looking areas, add flex. Work good. Sizing runs pretty true, maybe a touch small. Being a rubber glove, adding a liner adds comfort but bulk. I understand why they made the gloves ambidextrous, glove will fit either hand. But for it to work the glove has to be made flat, no pre-curve in it. While the glove does have good flex, it isn't as soft as a Nitrile glove which is still comfortable in an ambidextrous design. Really close to a perfect rubber glove. Not perfect. Not cheap either.

Good quality safety products!
These are comparable to the ones I was issued in the military, back when everyone had to be issued with CBRN equipment. As a current first responder, I don't typically use these, however I like to have a set of chemical protective gear available in case it is needed. Mira Safety has always been a good brand, and the other items I have from them have been of similar high quality. These fit properly over the inner gloves, and don't feel overly tight and restrictive.
