Indigo Banana SATA III 3.0 Patch Cable - Blue

I bought two or three locking cables from this link http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004HTFDDE/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1They worked fine with my Crucial SSD and Hitachi Desktar drives but for some reason wouldn't work with a new WD Caviar Black. The BIOS recognized the drive but it wasn't possible to format it in Windows. I tried a USB caddy and it worked fine so obviously that particular cable has a problem with certain drive make/models and not with others.I thought trying a different make might work and this one does the job fine.So if you buy one of the round cables from above link and have problems, I suggest you go for this one

Unfortunately this wasn't a successful purchase. It wouldn't clip down and kept flying from the socket. I tried all manner of things to get it to seat properly but it insisted on springing from the socket. I reported it to Amazon who refunded me. I wouldn't recommend but it may well have been a manufacturing fault. The cable itself seemed good enough quality.

It works.. however one end of my cable doesn't actually 'click' onto any SATA-3 ports or drives. Said end of the cable doesn't go COMPLETELY on my SSD SATA-3 port, it leaves the contacts exposed only ever so very very slightly, and doesn't click in. I would have preferred it if it did do that, and would probably have gave the product 5 stars if it did.

Very disappointed for one thing as I ordered two and they weren`t even the same length. They didn`t always lock in properly.For 3.99 each I expected far better than this. Will not buy this brand again.

Great value and does exactly what it's meant to do. Excellent item.

Pretty standard sata cable but this one is great at the price, quickly delivered and does the job perfectly, cant fault.

Works fine. Used it to connect a new SSD which is now the system drive. Looks identical to the SATA cables that are already in my PC.

Fantastic price and delivery, have bought these before and would recommend to anyone
