I have purchased many, many kinds of Coconut oil. Many are like "wax" or don't even smell like Coconut. Many say they are "all natural" or otherwise but, are not. This Coconut oil is the real deal- it melts in your hands as it should is fantastic for dry skin, pulling, healing up to and including putting on my puppy when he has dry skin and/or hot spots heals up in less than two days and he loves it - beneficial for his mouth and teeth too so no worries if he licks it while soaking into his fur/skin. It's great for cooking, great for your hair and a plethora of other benefits. Have purchased this product multiple times and highly recommend! Worth the price, good quality and smells terrific!!

I have purchased better body foods organic coldpressed coconut oil in the past. This is great tasting, I use it for many things, frying, Cooking, baking, facial moisturizer, hand cream, and also to make body scrubs with sugar Essential oils. This is a high-quality coconut oil, and extremely reasonably priced. I do recommend this product to others is it is a very smooth product to the taste, very economical, and very useful in many ways. Better body does he have smaller jars like this for anyone wishing to start out and just try some. For this reason it is a good product for beginner who is not sure about trying coconut oil.

I got a big o'bucket of coconut oil. This stuff is fantastic. I am no coconut oil connoisseur but this stuff is legit. I use this for my body. It works really good for softening skin and a great hair treatment! Smells amazing like coconuts, duh! Please do not put coconut oil on your face. It is comedogenic and can make you break out. Body and hair only. And please, please don't eat it by the spoonful as I have heard people do for health. Less cholesterol in butter than coconut oil. It is fine to cook with such as frying just don't shove it down your throat everyday. Makes me cringe as a nurse.

I have used the BetterBody cold pressed coconut oil ever since Sam's Club started selling it. The quality has been consistently good. The oil is pure and acts like coconut oil, which is very different from any other oil I had used. When Sam's was having difficulty getting any more supplies I ordered online. I have also ordered another brand and am happy with both. The reviews at Amazon have helped greatly in knowing which companies to avoid when buying coconut oil. I highly recommend BetterBody products.Some reviews of other brands reported off taste or mold growing on the coconut oil. I was a bit confused at first as to how that could happen, as pure coconut oil is anti-fungal, anti-mold, anti-viral and anti-bacterial, along with a lot of other benefits. What I learned about those other oils from Bruce Fife's book, "The Coconut Oil Miracle", is that the off taste and mold only occur if the oil has not been properly processed. Some manufacturers cut corners on the processing and sell inferior products as pure coconut oil. I will NEVER order from a company who's oil has been known to develop these characteristics of improper processing.

I have found this product to be an exceptionally healthy one for not only the humans in our housee, but for our dogs! I use it for cooking and in addition, add it to my dogs food (all are rescues, older, in need of help with their nutirents for coats and skin). I use a teaspoon for our 12 lb., 1 1/2 teaspoons for our 28-32 lbs, and for the most recent addition (and because he also has heartworms and had been starving for months), our Vet said a1 Tablespoon for him as his coat and skin are still trying to recover from long term starvation. (He is a Staffordshire Terrier and he's now up from 43 lbs. to 61 lbs. and doing well). All of their coats are thicker, they are not shedding the way they were and with the seasons change, the use of air conditioning to heat, they all needed something to relive the constant itch. It's worked for us as well. Nails, hair and skin are much better since we started adding just a small amount to our morning smoothies and for quick veggie stir fry in the evenings. The taste of coconut isn't overpowering and with seasonings is completely unnoticeable.
