Having hardwood floors and not liking to walk with shoes in the house, this was a perfect compromise. It has just enough gage to keep your feet from sliding without feeling the grippy on the bottom of your feet. I gave it four stars only because it is a touch shorter than I would like around the ankles but overall great.

The quality is not bad overall. BUT if you have size 10 feet these are too tight to really enjoy. I purchased the extra-large size just to ensure a better fit, but still much smaller than I would have liked. Would not buy again for that reason alone.
