I wanted a substitute for fresh celery juice and after looking at umpteen products, thought I'd give this a try.I was not disappointed. This was every bit as advertised. Although the powder is pale in color, but added to my morning bonebroth, it does add a faint celery flavor. It is important to stir constantly while drinking as it has a tendency to sink to the bottom. All in all, I'm very satisfied with it and happy that I can put away my juicer and save a lot of time/effort in my morning routine.

I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast and collard greens has always been one of my ingredients. It is very difficult to find frozen greens at the supermarket. One product I bought for some time was discontinued. So I went online looking for a powdered product and liked what I saw. So I ordered 2. I like the ease of storing and using and plan on continuing adding PUR360 Freeze Dried Collard Greens Powder to my morning smoothie.

Read all about the health benefits so I ordered this to give it a try, BUT, at only half a scoop, I felt immediately nauseous and I kept yawning and felt really tired and weak.As a first time juicer, I didn't know this was expected so it was kinda scary. I felt the drop of my blood pressure. I am also a frequent fainter so I immediately googled if that was a side effect. It's usually a side effect for first timers but it's hardly mentioned when you look up celery juice and what to look out for.I won't be continuing anymore for my own safety but this is just a warning for those who aren't aware.

This powder is lovely. Even if just putting in a shaker cup with cold water it dissolved pretty well. It tastes like celery but not overly so like you’re eating celery. More of a hint of celery – but with the freshness of celery like the fresh juiciness. It is actually quite lovely to drink. I got this because I heard that celery is really good for skin issues like dry skin, psoriasis, eczema, etc. – or if you are allergic to gluten like me.Using the powder is way easier than juicing a bunch of celery. The directions say to add 800 mg or 1 teaspoon to your diet everyday. I added 1 teaspoon to a cup of water and drank it first thing in the morning. I like to start off each morning with a “shot” of something good for me.My only issue is that the container is half empty. I understand products settle but it is a waste of plastic – and space within my kitchen as well. A smaller container – or one that is fuller with more product would be nice especially these days. (You can even see the fill line from outside the container with sunlight shining on it from the other side from my photo.)Enjoy your day! : )

I put this powder in my shake everday. It isn't over powering and doesn't change the flavor of the shake. I add it to my tuna salad with the mayo. I will buy this product again as celery is very good and I don't always have time to cut up fresh.
