Bought this and the tracking does not work at all. Also I think the phone holder slot should be bigger to better fit newer iPhones

It's so hard sometimes to find gifts to please a very complex 11yr old going-on-teenager. They seem to be obsessed with things that we only dreamed of as kids - video calls, online games, gadgets and gizmos.This product struck absolute gold for her as she and her friends are obsessed with these video networks where recording "skits" and "sketches" and sharing them is pretty normal. We'll hear them re-doing the same dance or challenge tens of times in a session.What's great about this, and the problem it solves, is that she/ her chums can now spend far less time on video skit re-takes because they drifted out of frame, as this little device does a great job of body/ face tracking.The build quality is solid, and this is a hefty piece of kit! It's weighted really well and this helps keep everything steady. The motorised left/right auto panning is pretty much silent and very smooth, and coupled with anti-shake on the modern phones makes for some very professional video results.At £24.99 at the time of writing, this product has not only made filming more fun, but my daughter has achieved "gadget godess" status.Highly recommended!

The unit tracks reasonably well although there is a slight time delay, meaning you move and a short time later the unit moves with a consequent issue with footage.The gesture action works well.I would not suggest it is used a a gimbal as it is very large to be placed onto a stick and handholding it will be very difficult due to its size.I am therefore returning it and will not re-order, it may however meet your needs.

This auto tracking phone holder is pretty good for doing tiktok or youtube vlogs. No app needed it can literally 'follow' me while doing vlogs. The u-shape clamps have soft silicone pads that can be extended to support both phones or pads. A mini desktop tripod is included. Easy to switch on, pause, and gesture recognition. It can last for a decent period of time. charges fast and it can automatic shutdown to a power saving mode.

Really easy to use, just attach your phone, rotate it horizontal or vertical whichever you prefer when doing a video call, place it on flat surface.. then watch how the magic happens, it literally follows you wherever you go! Perfect for when you in the kitchen or moving about but still want to have face time without holding the phone in your hands & ending up with a sore arm with holding your phone. Really sturdy so no need to worry about device falling etc. The quality is really good & imagines are well focused. Definitely recommended
