Great value.
Great length. I wanted something sturdy with magnetic grabbers. I don't mind the folding, although I don't think I'll need it. The handle style works better than my last stick. It was more of a paddle style and somehow the screw disconnected. I much prefer the longer length and strength. It feels well constructed. Price was great and shipping fast.

Sturdy & useful.
My first order got stolen off my porch during the holiday season, but thankfully Amazon replaced it for me. I'm glad it all worked out, because this extended reach grabber is pretty awesome! It's well-made, foldable & has lots of handy features like the magnet & gripping function. I love that the hinges lock in place, because I've had other ones that will droop if you don't hold them a specific way. With the locking mechanisms, you can hold this grabber anywhich way & it'll stay firmly extended. As a bonus, I even found that if you want to unlock one or the other hinge in order to grab something that fell behind a piece of furniture or whatever, you can still control the gripping function even at that 90° angle due to the thin but strong cable running thru the pole segments. (Which is great for me, because my arm is too chunky & too short to reach behind stuff, but this grabber isn't!)

Perfect for picking up yard waste - especially acorns, bark and leaves!
Our yard is home to a large number of very tall pine trees. They keep the back side of our house warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We love them! Our front yard, though, is about 150 feet by 70 feet--and the glorious pine trees assure us a nearly continuous "crop" of fallen pine cones, pieces of bark, small-to-medium branches, and leaves. The only problem? The year-round "harvest" of fallen pine cones, etc., is daunting!I looked at numerous tools for picking up pine cones. Some are meant for large yards and need to be pulled behind a tractor. Others are specially made for raking large harvests of pine cones. But our yard is littered with pine cones, etc., nearly year-round. In the few weeks of the year that hundreds fall every day or three, one of the "industrial-sized" tools might be useful. For the vast majority of the year, though, we get 20 to 50 or so pine cones every day or two. That means that tractor-pulled solutions would be more work (and gas) than they're worth—and that even the special rakes, etc., would only be worth the effort a few weeks of the year. What to do?I finally settled on this low-cost, lightweight tool. I carry it with me in one hand and carry the plastic top of our "yard waste trash barrel", upside down in the other. The trash-barrel top serves as an impromptu "tray" that I hold in my hand not carrying the "grabber tool":I walk around the yard, picking up pine cones with the grabber (never having to bend down) and then dropping the pine cones, etc., into the "tray" (that is, the upside-down trash barrel cover), one or two pine cones, etc., at a time.On the busiest pine-cone days, I fill (and empty) the "tray" three times. On more typical days in the spring and early summer, I fill it once a day.For my particular yard, this tool (plus my handy, inverted barrel-top) forms the ideal, economical, year-round solution. The grabber tool is 1) lightweight, 2) long enough to avoid me bending over to pick up pine up the "pine tree gifts", and 3) easy to store. It works equally well (4) to pick up pine cones, leaves, modest-to-small branches, and bark, etc.It' would not be ideal for a huge yard, I suppose. But it works great in our yard, and is useful no matter how many or few pine cones, etc., drop on any given day.Inexpensive, light, and versatile: what more could you ask for?

Great for limited mobility
Great tool for reaching items. I've struggled with mobility issues due to pregnancy and this helps me pick up my kids toys easily. It's easy to put together, just unfold it out of the box and it's ready to use. Very durable as well

A Classroom Essential I Didn't Know I Needed!
As a fifth-grade teacher, I was influenced by other educators on TikTok to purchase this grabber tool, and I am so glad I did! Its primary use for me is hanging paper decorations from the ceiling without having to climb on wobbly furniture.Anyone who has spent the beginning of a school year teetering on a desk, fearing for their life while trying to string up decorations, will understand the immense relief this tool provides. It makes the task remarkably easier and safer. No more precarious balancing acts! This alone makes it an invaluable addition to my classroom supplies.Beyond classroom decorating, I'm not entirely sure what other practical uses I'd have for it in my daily life, but for fellow teachers, this is a game-changer. It saves time, effort, and potentially an injury. Highly recommend for any educator looking to make classroom setup (and takedown!) much more manageable.

Sturdy, good grip, works well
I used it to get clothes out from behind my washer and drier. It works great! It has a good grip, and feels sturdy. It snaps together very easily, and is compact for storage. So it’s not going to get bent in a closet.

Durable, folds, unfolds easily and handy for retrieving so MANY things
Seems durable, have had several months, folds and unfolds easily. Decent reach. Strap is handy. Hangs on a nail or hook and stays put. Nice size padded pincer. Don't know what else one could want for retrieving things that have fallen behind a cabinet or into a window well, etc. Can't grab a volleyball with it, but it will grab a LOT of other things like tennis balls, cellphones, keys, clothing, jewelry, books, papers, tools, toys, etc.

Fell apart as soon as i opened the package.
Pivot pin at clamping jaws fell out of 1 side and while trying to fix that, the other side fell out. hollow pins that are flared out to hold in place. flare insufficient to secure pin in place. Replaced with a couple of screws and nylok nuts so I didnt have to torque to hard and inhibit pivoting of jaws.Otherwise ok but shouldnt have to fix the thing right out of the package!
