A very good selection of pre-mixed spices
These come packed in a very nice medium sized metal tin with a friction fit slide on lid. The individual small cans come with the spices blends inside each of them, with the spices sealed in a plastic bag that you have to empty into the cans. The shaker cans are just a little over 6 cm in diameter and about 5 cm tall. The lids on the containers has a very good fit that is firmly on, yet easily turned. The sides of the lids have two different shaker openings which you have to twist to open so you can shake the spices out. The one has four small holes about 2 mm in diameter each and the other has a single large opening about 5 mm x 15 mm. I wouldn't use the 2mm holes to shake out the spices in some of the blends as they have quite large spice particles that won't come out of the holes easily. The cans are well labeled with all the information on the ingredients and nutrition information. The magnets on the bottoms of the cans vary in strength. Some hold really well to the side of the refrigerator and I have no fears they'll fall or get knocked off. However some have a fairly weak hold and I'm not certain they'll stay in place. It's doesn't take much force to pull them off.As for the spice blends themselves they are all very good blends that go well with what they are labeled for, but also lots of other things. Some of them, in particular the pizza seasoning is extremely high in salt and a little goes a long way. We made the mistake of going a bit too heavy with it and we ended up with the saltiest pizza I've ever eaten. Make sure you sample them all before you use them, so you understand their flavor before you go too heavy like we did.So they are good spices, however you are definitely paying for the packaging here. I think they could provide significantly more for the same price if they did away with the fancy packaging. I would like to see them sell the spices themselves without the cans so that you can refill the cans when they are empty. It's a huge waste of the magnetized shaker cans if they don't and there really isn't a huge amount of spices in the cans. 1.6 ounces is a fairly small amount for the price. As it is, they only fill the cans about half way when you empty the packet into them. All said and done, if they do make the spice blends available separately so you can refill and reuse the shaker tins, they are a great value as a starter set. However I don't see anything on their Amazon store that indicates you can purchase the spice blends without the cans. It's bad for the environment and I don't like paying mostly for packaging and not the product I'm actually purchasing. These would easily be a 5 star rating if the spices were available separately.

Everything Plus 8 Seasoning Spice Gift Set all Packed in a Large Tin
There are 8 two-piece tins filled with an assortment of seasoning blends in this gift set. All the mixes are designated as Everything But…so that all that is needed is the named food item. The included flavors are Everything But the Sunday Roast, the Brooklyn Bagel, the Garlic Bread, Avocado Toast, the Guacamole, the Burger, the Taco and the Pizza. The spice blends act as delicious time savers to help quickly season foods whether the ones noted in the name or indicated on the back of the tins. They work well sprinkled on vegetables, popcorn, baked potatoes, rice, etc. Each tin has both an oval and shaker opening for dispensing which is revealed when the cap is turned and matched up with the oval opening on the lip of the tin.Within the tin the spice blend is encased in a cellophane or plastic bag. The contents may be emptied into the tin for easy dispensing or I moved the contents to small re-sealable bags to maintain optimal freshness so I won’t be using the openings on the tin. The tins measure 2 3/8 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches in diameter but the weight of the contents varies based on the components in the spice blends. The magnet on the bottom of the tins adhere quite well to appliances whether refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, etc. I tried to dislodge them from the refrigerator by slamming the door a few times but they did not move at all. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in October 2021 the Best By date is 23 months in the future but dates will vary. The large tin that holds the small set is attractive but I struggled to neatly remove the tape that holds down the lid and the star bow that is included under the lid was completely crushed. These are small things which do not alter the excellent quality of the spice blends.

Interesting Seasonings
I admit to having cooking ennui the last few years after shutdown. Our habits are for eating at home more than they used to be. But I get bored with the same old stuff. Different seasonings is a fun way to experiment and switch things up. These seasonings come in handy containers. The price seems high but when I did a cost comparison for seasonings amounts and container quality, it's actually quite fair. What we've used so far has been flavorful and interesting. My only real complaint is that there are no recipe or use recommendations. How much to use? I am an experienced cook but these were challenging to know good amounts for recipes. A sample recipe for each mix would provide some guidance to estimate amounts and portions. I'm willing to play with these but I don't want to accidentally over season something either. I got two different sets from this company--Sauce Lovers Gift Set and Everything But The... I do like both but admit the sauces one has been more inspirational for me, probably because the ones in the Everything But The... offer alternatives for recipes that I've mastered, not anything to unusual. The sauces one has some very new flavor profiles for my kitchen.

Love these but allergy warnings and not airtight!
These would be an amazing gift because when I opened the tin I couldn't help but taste several of the blends even though I had been planning to wait until I did a lot of cooking on the weekend. Some of the blends are STRONG and not meant to be tasted out of the packet but they just smelled so good I couldn't help myself!I like to cook with blends like these to make busy day cooking a breeze so to me, these are well worth the money. I have often spent $15-20 per jar on specialty blends like this because it really simplifies my cooking to have several "go to" blends that I can quickly use to throw dinner together and make everything taste great.I love the little metallic containers but I was disappointed that they are not air-tight. Many spice jars are not air tight but it makes a big difference to how long the spice will last, especially in humid areas like the South. I will have to use these up very quickly or they will lose their flavor since the tins are not air tight.I love that some of the seasonings do not contain black pepper for those that have an allergy to black pepper or are on an AIP diet. However, several of the seasonings contain other peppers and sesame seeds so watch out for those two common allergens if you are a household with allergies or digestive issues.Otherwise, I highly recommend this set and plan to use it as a holiday gift. Its a lot of fun to play and experiment with.

Premium magnetic tin boxes of flavorful seasonings but highly overpriced!
The very first impression was that it comes in a very generic packaging and without any branding on the exterior primary tin box too. However, these look premium and is a great set for Gourmet lovers. My husband and I love to try different flavors and we are very satisfied with this set.Pros and cons of this product are below:Pros:- Nice thoughtful selection of Gourmet flavors- These dry rubs taste great and are very flavorful overall- Great quality spice blend and feels premium overall- Small tin boxes are of great quality- Smaller tin boxes are magnetic and these are stackable as well- No MSG used in these spices- Non-GMO product- It is definitely a item that can be gifted to friends who liked cooking or trying flavorsCons:- These are highly overpriced in this competitive market- Main box was taped on two sides and they were so thin that taking them out leaves a glue all over. Not very appealing. Also, main tin box does not locks properly and is loose
