Seemed to burn well, though only at 1x if you enable defect management. Data read speeds were good without errors or data mismatches at readback. Bought these as a cheaper alternative to cheapo flash drives for backups or home video files to play on a blu ray player, half of which have write speeds that crater into the KB/sec once the cache is full. I have used this brand of BD-RE in the past and didn't have any issues five years on reading data back from one. Contrary to popular belief, the metallic phase change layer of these is stable if you keep them out of the sun and extreme heat and isn't likely to decay in 20-50 years, so makes a good addition to a 1-2-3 backup system.

I have used this item on numerous occasions and have not had any problems (used in Panasonic Blu Ray recorder). The ones delivered are exactly the same as ones I have used previously and I would have no problem recommending them.They were also very reasonably priced - have seen same at treble the price. I bought these discs to store video and data files on my pc. The 2x disc speed is not fast, as expected, but it is stable and reliable; there is certainly less risk of errors during the burning process! I was pleased with the discs. However, I bought a 10-pack spindle of which only 8 was functional. I found 2 plastic disc-shaped 'Protect Disc' slotted in between the 'real' discs! I suppose it is always best to check that your getting what you pay for.

Durch einen Fehler des Zustellers ist das Produkt nicht angekommen. Nochmals bestellt und es hat alles geklappt. Diese Rohlinge benutze ich schon seit mehreren Jahren und bin SEHR zufrieden! Archivieren von aufgenommen Filmen funktioniert einwandfrei! Ich kann diese Rohlinge wärmstens empfehlen!!!

J'achète régulièrement des produits de cette marque, et ceci depuis plusieurs années : CD, CDRW, BD-R, BR-RE, clé USB, carte mémoire. Il ne me reste qu'à tester le MDISC. Je recommande ces produits et cette société pour son sérieux. Le support produit est à votre écoute. Et autres avantages, les produits s'achètent dans tous les grossistes connus.

First off, Macs don't tend to play well with blu-ray discs and I was getting tired of using the write-once kind, only to have them fail mid-way during the writing process (Verbatim discs, which I have always found to be superior to the other brands that I have tried). The same write-once discs and burner used to work fine on older Mac OSs. I will say that while blu-ray discs aren't amazingly cost effective, I've found them to be more reliable in the long run than solid state or rotating hard-disk drives. Plus, once something is written optically, it's automatically an offline backup, which helps protect your files from malware and such. I found that with these discs, I do need to do a complete "erase" on each one before writing, but that may be a Mac OS thing. I'm not sure. So far, I haven't had a single one of these fail, and if they did, well, that's the point of re-writable. Keep in mind that these are 2x discs, so they will burn slowly, but that's not a huge deal for me. I always burn at the slowest speed anyway since I have had the best luck doing so. Keep in mind, if you have a Mac, you'll usually need third party software to burn any blu-ray properly. That software can get expensive. But again, it's nice to have offline copies of my most important files. It's also easy to keep an additional copy at another physical location. As with any optical disk, keep them out of sunlight and heat. A case is a good idea as well, but I haven't had any issues with scratching. So if you need BD-RE, these are a great choice!

Si te digo la verdad, los Verbatim BD-RE SL 25GB 2x 10pk son un producto bastante “de nicho”… pero para quien los necesita, son oro puro. Estamos hablando de discos Blu-ray regrabables, que ya de por sí es un punto muy interesante. No son los típicos BD-R de usar y tirar, aquí puedes grabar, borrar y volver a grabar varias veces. Eso ya cambia mucho la película, porque te sirven tanto para hacer copias temporales como para organizar archivos sin miedo a equivocarte. La capacidad es la estándar de este formato: 25 GB por disco, que en comparación con un DVD es un salto bastante grande (unas 3 a 5 veces más capacidad) . Para guardar pelis en alta definición, backups o proyectos pesados, va perfecto. No es almacenamiento masivo al nivel de un disco duro, pero como soporte físico sigue siendo bastante útil. Ahora bien, hay que hablar claro: esto no es un producto moderno en el sentido de velocidad. Va a 2x, que hoy en día suena casi a prehistoria digital. ¿Qué significa esto? Pues que grabar un disco entero te va a llevar su tiempo. No es algo para gente con prisa. Es más bien para quien prefiere fiabilidad y orden antes que rapidez. Lo bueno es que Verbatim suele ser una marca bastante fiable en este mundillo. Tienen fama de discos duraderos, con buena protección contra arañazos y una vida útil bastante larga . Y eso, cuando hablamos de almacenamiento físico, es clave. Aquí no quieres sorpresas dentro de unos años. Además, al ser BD-RE, tienen tecnologías que permiten reescribir varias veces sin que el disco se degrade rápidamente, lo cual es perfecto si los usas como “almacenamiento de trabajo”. Ahora, la parte menos bonita: Este tipo de producto no es para todo el mundo, ni de lejos. Hoy en día la mayoría de la gente tira de discos duros, SSD o nube. Comprar esto implica que: Tienes un lector/grabador Blu-ray Te gusta tener copias físicas O necesitas un sistema de backup offline Si no cumples eso, probablemente no les saques partido. Y luego está el tema práctico: aunque son resistentes, siguen siendo discos. Se pueden rayar, perder o simplemente ocupar espacio físico. No es tan cómodo como tener todo en el ordenador o en la nube. En resumen, mi opinión sería algo así: * Son un producto muy sólido dentro de su categoría * Ideales para copias de seguridad, archivo o uso puntual * Muy fiables, pero lentos * Totalmente prescindibles si eres 100% digital Dicho de forma sencilla: si eres de los que aún confía en el almacenamiento físico, estos discos cumplen de sobra. Si no… probablemente te parecerán un poco cosa del pasado.
