Nice Little Switch Box
I needed a switch box that would allow me to connect one of two audio Sources (radio receivers) to one of two Outputs (speaker or headphones) at a time, with all connections made with 3.5mm phone plugs . There didn't seem to be a solo box that allowed me to do what I needed, but I saw these Yitrox Switch Boxes which included two cables at a good price and decided two of them connected together would provide my desired solution. I've got my two radios plugged to A and B of one box with the Output connected to the Input of the second box. Then, I've got an External Speaker and my headphones connected at A and B of the second box. I use the pushbutton on the first box to select my Source, and use the pushbutton on the second box to select where I want to hear it. Works like a champ! While I didn't think I would have any need for the integrated Audio Pot, it turned out even that is useful to me, and you can feel quality in it's rotation. OK, here's what you need to know. These metal boxes are about 3 in. square by 1in. high. They're probably weighted inside because they weigh more than you'd suspect. The metal case is well made, does not have feet or any mounting hardware. Connections are well marked and match the information on Amazon. There is no instruction booklet included, so refer to the illustrations on Amazon. What is not clear is what connections are being made by the two positions of the pushbutton. OUT is 'B', IN is 'A', which is not intuitive. The Headphone jack on the front is the oddity. It's live in every configuration and plugging headphones in there doesn't disconnect anything. People have remarked that seems useless. However, if you were using the box to switch devices remote from you, jacking into the front would allow you to confirm which source was playing so, in effect, a monitoring port. Anyway, that's my 'read' on why it may work that way. The two cables included with the box are decent quality, about 3 ft. long. I would recommending wiping your plugs and running the plugs in/out of each of the jacks a couple of times to clear up any intermittent connectivity caused by manufacturing oils. I'm pleased with my purchase. You will be, too, if the box suits your purpose. Study the connection illustrations to be certain it will.

Technically works, but audio quality is awful
This device will crush your stereo channels of audio into mono, ruining the sound quality. I had to do a lot of troubleshooting to figure this one out. I really recommend getting a better device than this one.

Audio selector box design feedback.
My preference: not sure why device manufacturer wanted huge white letters on top of device; I blacked out the white lettering on top of box. Also, red select switch is a bit distracting. Would have preferred a black select switch push button.Overall, functions as needed.Nice having volume knob on the box.Nice construction of the device.

Perfect for mic+audio switching between computers!
Finally! I can't believe it was so hard to find one of these. There are lots of switch boxes for audio, but not audio + mic.Be warned -- if you want to switch audio between two devices, everything else on the market i could find has only audio, it doesn't carry the microphone/voice signal. This does both perfectly. I'm home. Nice solid metal case, too, feels like a piece of quality equipment from the days of yold.So happy, highly recommended.

Unterminated off-outputs cause hum in amplified speakers
This audio switch is well-built and works OK with low impedance devices, like headphones, but causes high-input-impedance devices, like amplified speakers, to emit a buzzing hum when their connection is set to off in this switch.

Well made. Easy to use. Flexible to use forward or backwards.
If you need to route 1 audio source signal between 2 outputs, this is perfectIf you need to route 2 sources to 1 output, this is perfect. It works both ways. The device is in a heavy, steel box, with a well-designed circuit board. Level control is a good quality pot.Switch is a decent push & latch device. Push to disengage. The 4 2.5mm jacks are good. Not Pro-level, but very acceptable in this class of product.I am using this to switch audio between 2 sources for an outside FM/Aux receiver on my RV.This has 2 pass-thru jacks, so you can use it to split the source signal to 2 outputs. The volume control allows you to 'trim' the level down, if needed.

Simple, sturdy and works ...
This audio switcher has come in real handy for my garage stereo setup where I have two audio sources: a Bluetooth streaming device and an MP3 player with music loaded. Since the stereo only features a single 3.5mm input jack, I used to have to plug / unplug audio sources to switch them. This switcher has made life simpler and saves the wear on the jack from frequent connects/disconnects; do a one time connection and you are all set. Now, I can switch audio sources at the push of a single button. The volume control works really well and comes in handy to trim audio levels, as needed. The unit is well build with a metal housing, the selector switch has a nice solid feel and click to it, the volume button is nicely machined out of metal. Also included were 3.5mm connecting cables of good quality that made installation a snap. It is a passive device; i.e., no power supply needed which is really nice and adds to the simplicity of this unit. If you need a 3.5mm stereo switcher, this one comes highly recommended based on how it performs and the build quality. A++++++

DO NOT BUY
Volume potentiometer is crap. Useless waste of money..I contacted the seller and they said they would send me a new switch and gave me a USPS tracking #. Weeks later...nothing. I contacted the seller again and they blamed the USPS and said they were "helpless". I finally got through to USPS. THE COMPANY NEVER GAVE THE PRODUCT TO USPS! The seller then suggested that I buy another one! Are you kidding me?! I paid for this product in August. It's almost November. Don't deal with these useless people.
