Ditch the mouse!
It took about a day to adjust to how this works but I will not go back to a standard mouse. So much more fluid and flexible to operate and easier on the posture and hands. I love love the one click copy and paste buttons! Time savers! I find working on this so much easier with both hands rather than one switching between the keyboard and mouse. The low profile and built in wrist rest also helps with mobility. It’s like using a track pad but without the limited space. There’s a more expensive version out there with programmable buttons, but I just needed a plug n play and this is perfect and much less expensive.

Nice
I can switch between left-handed and right-handed mousing and changing back and forth didn't aliviate hand pain. This has been a great addition for me. I use this for clicking and scrolling. I still use a mouse for precise movement. The roller bar works great for precision but using the mouse feels more natural for me

Very good alternative to the "standard" mouse
I have a full-time job working on the computer and my right hand index finger began hurting from so much mouse clicking, so I looked for some other type of mouse to take the pressure off. I found and bought the bar mouse and it helps A LOT! It makes you use both hands all the time, so the work is distributed evenly. It's pricey, but for people like me who must click the mouse all day, it's worth making the sacrifice of paying the hefty price. I've been using it a year and a half but recently one end of the roller bar started leaking oil. I kept wiping it and the next day, it was oily again. It went on a few weeks and it started slowing down and it wouldn't work properly. I sent an e-mail to the company and they were really great and within 2 days, they replaced the roller bar with a new one. Now it's working like new again! Very pleased with their customer service support. Over all, I am happy with this mouse but I fear it won't last as long as a standard mouse and the price when compared to your standard mouse is way too high. I'm waiting for it to go down so I can purchase one more as a backup- we'll see! So far, it's helped me to keep my job pain free!

I got finger pains
I have tendonitis and my physical therapist always recommends I use RollerMouse Red. I use the RollerMouse at work but I need computer analysis at home as well so I purchased this mouse for alternative one. At the beginning, I felt this is comfortable to use it as well as the RollerMouse. However, this rollerbar is thinner than the RollerMouse, that made my 3 to 5 th fingers pain. I think if people don't use it for long time, it's a good item. But I prefer RollerMouse as long asI use computer for long time daily.

Roller bar tension
I have been using a roller bar mouse at work for years. Finally bought one for my home office. Would not recommend this brand. The roller bar does not roll smoothly creating unnecessary strain on the wrist.

Double Up
No more straining my wrist. I have monster hands so I had to place an additional wrist rest in front of it. I wish I had this 10 years ago. Could only afford one so I'll be lugging back and forth in between work and home. You're paying for the idea although it is sturdy and resilient to rough handling.

Ok
Tried this out. Can see the benefits of a roller mouse but didn’t like it.

but it was way to sensitive to be useful for editing cells in a spreadsheet
This is somewhat similar to my other ergonomic pointing device. the Mousetrapper, but it was way to sensitive to be useful for editing cells in a spreadsheet. I had high hopes but i couldn't lower the sensitivity on the bar that controlled the cursor so I returned it.

It has relieved my wrist pain.
It works with surprising accuracy. It’s different, but it doesn’t take long to get comfortable using it.

It didn't work for me and has been returned
It looks nice and elegant but it's very sensitive, then I had to work harder to control it which doesn't serve the purpose of having it. Also, the rolling bar is a loose item without being attached to the product, it falls out easily when I move it around. I had sent an inquiry to the vendor however have never been replied. Then I decided to return it. I have a Contour RollerMouseFree3 at work, it's not too sensitive, not too insensitive, it's just right and comfortable. Also, the rolling bar is attached to the product, it doesn't fall out. In between, I like Contour product better.

Relieves neck pain, easy to use.
If you have not tried using an ergoslider type mouse before, I highly recommend you give it a go. I am a software developer who spends a significant amount of time on the computer. I suffer from terrible neck pain on the right side of my neck that is caused by reaching to the side to use a mouse. Using the Ergoslider allows me to keep my hands in front of my body and prevents the neck pain. The slider type mouse was recommended to me during an Ergonomic assessment years ago. My employer purchased one for me and I fell in love. It will take a little getting used to, but what you probably don't remember is that a normal mouse took getting used to as well when they first came out (aging myself a little :) ). The only real issue I have is when I pair program with others, they are a little intimidated by it so I keep a spare mouse around for guests. :)I now work from home a few days a week and did not have a slider mouse at home. As a result, the pain in my neck became unbearable. I was in horrible pain after only minutes when using a regular mouse. So I scoured the web to find something I could use at home. The Fersgo Ergoslider has been fantastic. My only initial concern was that it does not have 'feet' to set my keyboard on to help keep them together like the one I have at work. I initially thought this may be a huge problem but it turned out not to be a problem at all.I highly recommend the Fersgo Ergonomic mouse if you suffer from neck pain using the computer. Seriously, worth every penny.

It's great.. It's reliable.. it's comfortable.. but..
I found this product after I tried several trackball products from Elecom & Logitech. All trackballs fail when select text because going left->right is unreliable. This roller mouse is perfectly trump all that. Anyway, there are some Pros and Cons:Pros:- A lot better than trackball when select text.- Feeling more grabby than using trackpad. Feel no fiction when move.- Depending on how you place your hand, for me, it's a lot better to be able to use 2 or three fingers to control the roll. You cannot do that with trackball.- 2 buttons are programmable as they are mouse button 3 and 4. You cannot do that with the US brand.- There are buttons on the left and right end of roller tray to give left or right cursor move when the roller hit that. As I use with 4 external screen, this kind of work perfectly. However, I hope the buttons need less pressure and distant to activate them.Cons:- The left click by pressing the whole roller down has too long travel distant. It's impossible to click without moving cursor even with 3 fingers help. Anyway, this depend on application you use. If it's just browser, it's ok.- Buttons on the left and right of roller tray need some pressure to push. It would be better to put less spring tension there.- I hope the buttons under roller and under scroll roll can be programable. They are fixed to left click and double left click. I have no problem with double click. So, the button under scroll bar is useless to me. I cannot even disable it because sometime when I reach to the scroll roll, I accidentally click it.- Putting the mouse under keyboard is totally not working to me. It's too close to my body. This makes my hand when operate it in the position that not perpendicular to the roller bar and totally awkward to click right buttons. Moreover, from time to time when typing on the keyboard, my arm touch the roller and move the cursor. So I put it on the right side of keyboard instead(see first pic). I hope there is a new version that make for putting on the side of keyboard by removing the cushion and make roller tray and roller shorter. When I use this way, I don't need the long roller anymore as I operate with only one hand.- If there is wireless bluetooth version, it will be better.
