Works, well built!
I bought this for a Kodi box I built. The Bluetooth remote wouldn't stay connected and I wanted something more reliable. This did that and the addition of the keyboard made it well worth the price.

Keyboard does not work on Samsung Smart TV
I bought this remote thinking that it would work with my Samsung smart TV as advertised. I also checked my tv manual ,as suggested,to confirm that the USB port supports keyboard and mouse which it does. It connected just fine and I tested the air mouse function and it works fine. The keyboard function did NOT work. The backlight goes on and off as it should when u flip the remote , IR programming worked fine as well but the keyboard does not work. I tried using the keyboard to do searches in various apps and it just would not enter on screen ever.Since I bought this item mainly for keyboard function I'm very dissappoibted that it did not work with my smart TV and I will have to return it.

Great remote
This is the 2nd one of these I've bought; the 1st seemed to be exactly the same but was a different brand. It had issues with battery life, and it's so flimsy and I'm so clumsy I kept dropping and it would snap open and I've have to put the components back together. Regardless, it's the only remote that has all the functions I need, so I bought this one. For whatever reason, this identical one is way better - it takes weeks to go through rechargeable batteries, as opposed to days. And hasn't busted open the couple times I dropped it so far.

Power button no effect on android TV box. Fixed by programming the Green IR button.
How can this remote be a good replacement for the remote that came with my Android tv box? The power button on the Air Remote is unable to power on or off of my Android 9.0 TV box. Also, I have been unable to program the IR TV button. Apparently the TV remote needs to have NEC. I am used to seeing NEC on smartphones and bluetooth speakers, but not TV remotes.Update: I finally figured out how to program the IR buttons. Once I gave up on programming the red TV power button, I was able to program three of the four colored IR buttons, Red turns TV on and off; Green turns my Android TV box on and off (Also, the red main power button turns TV box off, but not on.) The Yellow turns my surround on and off.

Works with Linux. Note: the color buttons are IR ONLY
I purchased this remote for control of A/V devices through a Linux box. It works decently in that regard, but it is a bit twitchy about power saving and the range is atrocious compared to say a TiVo Slide RF remote. This remote provides the full capabilities of a keyboard, mouse and typical A/V control. On Linux and Windows boxes this thing is essentially plug and play - plug the adapter in and within a few moments the control will let you move the cursor, type, raise/lower the volume etc.The colored buttons do NOT report scancodes over the USB adapter, so you cannot use them to control devices unless they support IR (Infra-Red) and are within IR range of the remote (or you use an IR extender kit). Thus, this remote is functionally useless for multi-device control of modern set-top box type devices such as cable boxes, TiVos, and others that use colored buttons.I say functionally, because obviously you could bind other buttons on the remote for that purpose, but that makes the usage unintuitive to end users. This limitation is not so big a deal when it's just you and your spouse/partner putzing around in the living room with the stack of equipment eight feet away from you. It is a significant nuisance though for multi-room setups that may use a video matrix in a central rack/closet with multiple satellite, cable and Roku/TiVo/FireHD/Blu-ray players/whatever controlled by a dedicated automation server. In those cases, end-users expect to be able to use the colored buttons like they can on the device's native remote. For just changing the volume and navigating through, say, Netfix, these remotes are fine.Three stars for: poor range (drop out can start even ten feet away, especially with obstructions), inability to use colored buttons over the USB and somewhat archaic/platform specific buttons (for instance, the Microsoft Internet Explorer "e" button). Also, the keyboard is missing several symbols (such as the brackets, caret and pipe).

Surprised it worked.
You'd think for something so cheap it wouldn't work as well as it does. I definitely recommend if you are a lazy potato like yours truly and don't want to mess with a keyboard for your media PCs. The battery swelled on my Logitech and this was absolutely a great replacement. Should this one die in a year or so definitely buy another one. Anything sooner probably move along but it's really easy to control once you get used to it.

Cool Device for a Rasberry Pi Kodi player
I set up an inexpensive Rasberry Pi 4 / Kodi media center in our RV. This remote works perfectly with the Rasbarry Pi and Kodi.

Stopped working after a couple of days...
First thing I noticed was the backlight was so dim it was not worth it. Then it stopped working altogether in a couple days. Maybe I got a faulty one? The airmouse doesn't respond as it should either. I'm close to my set-up so it's not a distance issue, it acts the same no matter how close I am. I was hoping for something better. Very dissatisfied. Will be returning.
