Best bandages on the market (my professional opinion)
These go on quickly and easily. They stay on excellently. They do not allow any water to penetrate. They are very easy to remove. I happen to be allergic to any adhesive normally used on skin. If left for more than a day or two, my skin starts to break down with rash, redness, weeping and itching. But I can wear these Nexcare products for several days with no ill effects whatsoever. For those people who do not know how to apply these unique bandages, here are some very brief instructions. First, pull the paper apart and discard the half that is not sticking to the bandage. Do not remove the strips around the edge of the bandage. Gently remove the bandage from the other piece of paper covering. You will then be holding a bandage with the strips intact. Carefully lay the bandage on your skin where you want it to stay. Gently pat it down all over. Last, remove the paper strips and discard them.I have no knowledge of this for certain, but I suspect (educated guess) that the clear material that resembles plastic wrap is actually Tegaderm. This is a semi-permeable membrane made specifically for skin. It allows oxygen to get in, and it allows moisture to get out. This process allows healing to occur without changing the bandage. For this reason it also hugely decreases the possibility of skin breakdown like I experience with other brands of bandages. I am an RN and similar products like this one are used in the hospital, and for these same reasons.

Nexcare, it's the hard-working band aid.
Nexcare waterproof band aids have earned my vote! Always stay on until I take them off. They work so well I've wondered if anyone ever leaves them on too long. The huge size works as well as the small size, they are all great! Just make sure the area is dry and the sticky part does not touch any medicine/cream. Band aids that do not work correctly are not a value; Nexcare works!

The BEST All Day Bandages
I can't believe it took me this long to check Amazon for just the small size of these Nexcare bandages and here I find, they come in a 3 box set that's cheaper than going to the store! I've been buying the multi-size pack over the years because I ran out of smalls and now have so many excess of the other sizes from using less of the mediums and barely any large. These are perfect for small papercuts, protecting a hang nail, or covering a mosquito bite you're having a hard time not scratching. They hold on through lots of hand washing as long all the sides are flush on your skin which is perfect for me at work. No shipping damage issues with my purchase, they came in a 3 pack together in a manufacturer outer box. I'm set for a long time now and no longer have to keep buying the multi-size packs to end up with a huge stash of other sizes I can't get through!

Life Saver
I Love these Band-Aids they are very useful to cover up your wounds to heal it properly and I really like how it sticks solidly on your skin and everything that is said on the box about being water proof is no lie at all but other than that this is an Awesome product to stock up in your medical cabinet because it is worth the buy.

Tiny bandages, perfect for tiny problems
They’re mostly transparent except the little beige pad in the middle, so not obvious on my lightish Caucasian skin (would probably show more on the very pale or very dark-skinned). Because they’re so thin, they come off their paper with a little paper frame around the edge. You keep that in place, and apply the sticky side to your skin (note, it’s a strong adhesive and the bandage is not movable once it sticks even a little), flatten it out, then peel off the frame in two parts. Give the edges another smoothing and you should be good to go. To get a good seal, they have to be on level skin all the way around (not a nail, or cuticle, or significant hair). The waterproofing is pretty good, though I find they tend to roll or peel if I apply them right before I get wet—give the adhesive some time to stick before you shower/swim/etc. If you do that (and follow the directions above), they’re typically good for about 24 hours, and sometimes longer. Also worth noting: I have a minor sensitivity to adhesives, and 3M brand is one of the ones that does not make my skin react, so I tend to use their products so that I don’t have to worry. Here's hoping they never change the adhesive!

Great for kids!
My kids love these bandaids! Our pediatrician recommended them because at my daughter's wellness visit her bandaids were falling off everywhere. Not only do these stay on but they don't hurt my kids to pull them off. Win win!

Good strong spot bandage
This is a great bandage for areas that dont get exposed to water a lot. The adhesive membrane is very strong once placed properly. It is often the only bandage you will need for a small wound. It is fairly water resistant but not completely. SO, if you have a small cut on an arm, or leg or for an injection, it will probably last 3-4 days in place and often the wound is healed and can be left uncovered. On the fingers, if you wash your hands often, the membrane will allow some water into the pad and may take a long time to dry. The outside will feel dry. It will often need replacing otherwise it can waterlog the skin around the wound and then possibly begin to get foul. However, these bandages are much better than the standard fabric bandages in my opinion, as those are not water resistant at all and get soaked and take a long time to dry.

Bets wound cover there is outside a hospital.
I fell in love with these bandages and few years ago when I was looking for a bandage easy to apply but waterproof and durable. They might not have been the cheapest at the time but they are worth it. Other companies have tried to make bandages like it but fail miserably. Not as easy to remove but that's a good thing, it means it will stay put. And keep out the bad stuff.
