Zoom Adjustable Stem Ahead Clamp

Didn't know what to expect with these they are at the cheap end of the market well I'm impressed. Good solid and work brilliantly the adjustment range is huge 0-60 degrees 0 degrees was a bit radical for me so opted for 20 degrees more than the original fixed Merida one so at 40 its more sit up and beg but very comfy and I can breath alot easier when giving it a peddle full. Cant comment on cross country ability of this as only ride black top and back road. but if you in the market for a adjustable stem look no further it cuts the proverbial mustard....

Fitted this to bike quite easily, with the addition of a couple of spacers.Got it to lift the handlebars a bit and relax the riding position. Works fine, just as it should.Edited 12/5/13:Should have said, this was fitted to partner's bike. Now the weather has improved a bit she finally got out on the bike, and commented that her riding position is much better, and has eliminated the neck-ache from previously.Great product, at a decent price.Highly recommended.

Looks well made, was a straight swap for the original, and bolted up tight with no issues. Has not been ridden hard yet but not expecting any problems and if so it is reasonably good value. It is worth noting the label on it that says 'Not for hard off-road or downhill racing use' although with the hinged riser adjustment I would have expected most people to realise that. It is in use on a winter road bike that the owner bought with correct frame size but wrong geometry, the top tube is too short according to her local bike shop who measured her up ! This compensates (125 mm one replaced original non-adjustable 85 mm one); and also allows the bars to be a bit higher than the fixed stem allowed. I agree however with a previous post-er who said that tipping the seat up a couple of degrees at the front shifts your centre of gravity behind the pedals slightly so less weight is on your arms.

I purchased this stem to replace a static one. The adjustable stem allowed me to raise the handlebars and also move them back. This resulted in a more comfortable ride. The stem is well made and does what it is intended to a very reasonable price.

Bought this for my mountain bike to offer better arm position. Found it to offer a good range of handle bar positioning so I didn't have to reach too far.

Less than £5 when I bought it. Works well, no complaints. Perhaps a little squeaking, but easily fixed with ptfe and a strong tighten!

Saw one like this on another bike and I thought I should try one. Best thing I’ve added to my bike in ages. Make the ride more comfortable.

This did the job for me which was to provide some adjustment to the height and fore and aft movement of the handlebars on my MTB. The bike is now much more comfortable. The quality appears good for the money. The downside for me is that it has introduced some annoying squeaking noises, especially whilst riding up hills. I've checked and tightened the screws to no avail. So, although it does the job, I wish it did it quietly!

La puse en mi bici para ensanchar la postura del conductor y no ir tan agachado y me ha resuelto ambas cuestiones, muy contento, llevo más de un año con él y sin problemas.

Ein verstellbaren Vorbau musste ich mir kaufen, da ich eine neue Federgabel an meinem Rad eingebaut habe. Bei meiner Suche kam ich auf den Zoom Ahead Vorbau.Preislich war er im Rahmen drin, dazu verstellbar. Wichtig ist, dass ihr auf die Grüße von eurem Lenker achten müsst. Der normale Lenker hat einen Durchmesser von 25,4mm und die z.B von 31,8mmVon der Verarbeitung wirkt der Vorbau völlig ok. Wie er sich schlagen wird, wird man sehen.Zu beachten ist dass man auch die Drehmomente einhält die der Hersteller angibt.Am Vorbau: max. 10 NmVerstellbare Achse: max 18,5 NmLenkerhalterung über Kreuz anziehen mit max 6NmErfahrung:Das erste mal hatte ich einfach nur so festgezogen. Nach kurzer Fahrt hatte ich gemerkt das irgendwas nicht stimmte. Also Drehmomentschlüssel genommen, alles nach Angaben angezogen. Seit dem keine Probleme, kein verstellen, nichts.Bin damit sehr zufrieden. Kann ich bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen.

A prima vista, il prodotto sembra valido..In quanto alla sua robustezza ancora non mi posso esprimere, perché l'ho montato sulla bicicletta, ma ancora non ho avuto modo di testarlo..Alla prima uscita in bici, mi potrò rendere conto se è quanto sia robusto.A livello ergonomico sicuramente, allieverà tutta una serie di problemi riguardanti la postura, poiché io essendo piuttosto alto, tendo a scaricare il peso sui polsi, e questo aggeggio sembra fare proprio al caso mio, perché alzando di pochi centimetri il manubrio, farà sì che avrò un alleggerimento sulle braccia, in quanto avrò una posizione più eretta..Almeno in teoria..ora come dicevo, appena riuscirò ad uscire in bici lo potrò verificare in pratica..L'estetica dell'oggetto è perfetta, e si adatta in modo meraviglioso alla mia bicicletta, che è ugualmente e totalmente di colore nero satinato..Spedizione in tempi record..Che dire di più?!
