TL;DR super good mug with A+ impact survival, should buy for sure
The best tumbler I own, and I own a few! I have three of these 12oz’s. My husband also wanted a leak-proof mug for coffee, and I wanted a shorter one that would fit my Keurig with the drip-catcher installed. These definitely do the job. It keeps things lava hot for quite awhile, they’re super easy to clean because the mouth isn’t narrow and tall, and the lid is not at all janky (the flip top lid). But wait, there’s more! My tumbler specifically survived being accidentally thrown into traffic and suffered only a few bumps and scratches. The lid was still closed, there were no structural related issues, and you sort of kind of can’t really tell. Don’t be fooled, it super fell and rolled a far distance away because my husband had to run at it for awhile to get it (bless him). Said mug is still very presentable. It’s here in fact, on my desk. So yes, you should very much buy this tumbler. You will probably not regret it. The only tip I can give is to not leave it on the roof of your car as you passionately drive away, but if you do, it will probably be A-OK. It’s a nice mug. It’s a nice place to put your coffee. The comment on the packaging is “Over Built Not Over Priced” and that’s pretty spot on. I felt particularly guilty about letting my car throw it so I bought another one, but now that the road paint is washed off of it, it’s even less noticeable and I feel silly buying another one. Oh well, cheers!

Does not come with the advertised flip-top lid
I'm still in the process of trying it out, but it has been pretty solid so far. The biggest disappointment though, is the fact that it doesn't come with the advertised flip-top lid as seen in the pictures. It comes with a sipping lid instead (see attached photo) which offers no protection at all from spills.I tried contacting the seller but they didn't respond after a week. I liked the rest of it though (cool walls even with hot drinks, sturdy, well insulated), so I ended up buying this flip-top lid instead. Hopefully it'll be good, but probably not as good as the original, advertised lid. Amazon should really remove the misleading images.

great mug for coffee machines
great mug for coffee machines , as it fits underneath, and room in the mug to fill it. Just wish it had a completely sealed lid, so that it won't spill, you can and I did pick one up off amazon. liquid stays warm or cold for hours

Great build quality that suits my needs perfectly
I recently purchased this item to replace another similar product that I was only partially satisfied with: Klean Kanteen Vacuum Insulated Tumbler with Lid, Shale Black, One Size/8 ozMy goal was to find a small reusable mug that would fit under a Flavia coffee dispenser at work for daily use. I needed it to insulate my coffee better than the paper cups at work and I preferred if it would protect my hands from the heat without the use of a sleeve. This products meets all of these needs. The mug just BARELY fits under a Flavia, but since the clearance is just right there's no issues with daily brewing. The 10oz size is also just right to fill the mug without overfilling. The clear lid has a snug rubber fit after 2-weeks of washing and reusing so far. Because of the outside insulation the cup is barely warm to the touch and easy to handle without burning yourself. Lastly, the liquid does stay warmer for a few hours longer than a traditional paper cup, though I will note that you won't get the 6 hours of heat as advertised on the packaging: I get around 3-4 hours of heat but I finish my coffee before lunch anyways (depending on your needs, this may or may not remove a star for you).I am very happy with my purchase. Be sure to understand what you're getting before purchasing, and I think you'll like it too.

Lids are terrible
This is not my first Rtic product, I have a couple water bottles that I'm very happy with, but this is the second tumbler style cup I've bought, the other being a 20oz, and both of them suffer from the same issue. The lids suck, am I the only one who has this problem? Every time I put the lid on the rubber gasket causes it to creep up, some times it's so bad, it's caused some leaks in my cup holder, yes I might have taken a corner too fast and sharp, but still, it's a pain. Also the flip tab style latch sucks.
