Good quality and value for the money.
Another obscure bulb found on Amazon! This bulb replaces one from my ceiling fan. I just looked up the numbers and was able to buy this 4 pack. Now, I have year's worth of replacements.

Switch back and Relax with an original halogen lamp
I turned to these after replacing several early burn out LED lamps. LEDs are definitely the way to go but the technology is still evolving. I found that for many specialty bulbs the hour rating is pretty meaningless. I mean don't even get 2000 hrs on a claimed 20,000 hrs rating. These bulbs were a significantly more economical investment and they actually work. No problem with color temperatures or anything like that.

Good value vs store
Great value for 4 in the box. Much better than HD or other hardware store ripoff prices. Time will tell regarding longevity. Specialty bulbs can be expensive and hard to find. Just get the pack.

Broken on arrival; short lifespan
These are hot garbage. 2 of 4 were broken upon arrival but I only needed 2 so I used them. The originals lasted several years with me burning them out by using them as night lights for a couple months. These on the other hand have been used sparingly and lasted 3 months. I would rather pay more for quality because this fixture is cumbersome to open.
