Kamerar D-Fuse Collapsible Portable Softbox For 1X1 Studio LED Panel L 12" x 12"

Purchased from Amazon Warehouse, so cheaper than list price. Very easy to set up, attach to light, and to pack down. Packs down really small so fits easily into a bag with my other gear. Produces nice soft light from my 1000LED panel. Generally a more effective and more practical proposition for location production than other soft boxes I’ve used over the years. Will definitely get another.

This is a very nice item. It can be a fiddle to collapse it down. But it gives a great softened light. I paired this up with a Newwer Bi Colored 480 LED light, and I was very happy with the results. I may buy another one later one as I only bought the one for a key light, I have a smaller LED light, which I use as a fill light, which seems to give me pretty good results. What I liked about this product is it fits down into a small bag, taking up little room. Being a minimalist, not wanting loads of bulky gear, this was a valid reason to buy this item.

Good build quality, positive feeling, does the job!

Using these on my neewer LED panels with some huge beefy NPFs for portability and i lit a CHURCH at 2am in WINTER with these softening my panels and widening the spread of light!

Unless your light has barn doors protruding 29cm or 11.5" top down or light itself is just over these dimensions the box is useless.I have a smaller light myself with no barn doors and unfortunately there is no way to secure it unless using some 3rd party clamp and only when pointing the light straight.As for the price - photography equipment is expensive and unnecessarily so. This is no exception - it is a nice tool but considering materials, packaging and footprint it could easily cost 40% less.Overall, limited use and usable results if your light is a perfect fit.

Works well as a diffuser and looks the business. Gives a nice catch light to the eyes.

Sehr schöne große Softbox für die LED-Panel. Die Box ist einfach aufzubauen und lässt sich ganz einfach wie bei Faltreflektoren auch üblich durch eine einfache Handbewegung wieder ziemlich klein zusammenfalten. Es ist eine Schutzhülle dabei, was prima ist.Die Softbox wird über Klettstreifen an den Barndoors des Panels befestigt. Die Fixierung ist im Prinzip prima, allerdings müssen die Klettstreifen übereinander geführt werden und dadurch ist die Kontaktfläche etwas gering, da der Klett ja im Überlappungsbereich schon verdeckt ist. Die Klettstreifen könnten etwas länger sein, dann wäre es noch besser. Aber es hält und daher ist das kein Punkt für eine Abwertung.Empfehlung und 5 Sterne daher. Hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt.

I thought would be small when I saw the package, but is good for the light I needed for, light and easy to install. Just not so good with small light on a light stand, but help me in my little studio recording place.

The opening in the back is 28x28 cm (11x11"), not 30x30 (12x12"). The side that mounts to the LED panel. Which means, some of the light panel's light is blocked.Also, the size of the softbox itself is smaller than I expected. It is 48x48cm (19x19").The small magnetic "pins", in each corner, which hold the box expanded does not have much of reinforcement in the outer material. So I think that they will poke through the material after a while.Note related to the softbox itself perhaps, but you need at light-panel where the barn-doors can open so that they are 180 degrees from each other. My Godox 1000D LED only opens something like 120 degrees. So, to mount this softbox I need to remove (disassemble) the barn-doors from my light. No huge deal, but annoying. Removing the barn-doors also make mounting the softbox harder. I'm thinking about attaching some neodymium magnets at the corners, for easy mounting of the softbox on the LED-panel.To conclude. They are not horrible, but they are not good enough. This is the largest version they currently have, and it is too small.If they sorted out a better mounting solution, and made the front-end of the softbox much much bigger, I would gladly buy it. I think 80x80cm (32x32") and 30cm (12") deep (16 cm today (6")) would be i good size. Sure, that would mean that the packing size would get bigger, but that's no problem. It is tiny today.

Softbox davvero ben fatto: peso e ingombro da chiuso nulli, si monta in dieci secondi e apparentemente le cuciture e i materiali sono di buona qualità. Lo uso con un pannello led Brightcast e ne sono soddisfatto. Ammorbidisce la luce senza bloccarne troppa. Il sistema di braccetti magnetici che tiene il softbox in tensione è efficace e comodo: spero che regga la prova del tempo, ma non dovendo sopportare grande sforzo confido nel fatto che ci riesca. Lo consiglio decisamente.
